My mother has Type 2 diabetes and unfortunately in the nursing home where I work there are lots that suffer as well. One of the most interesting pieces of advice is 5minute reset. I apply the rule of being focused on separating tasks due to the time of day and managing time. Now with the 5minute reset I do see that it’s changing your mindset to take control I’m the present. Most challenges in life Diabetes or otherwise is psychological and in the nursing home that is the case. In a positive way including suggestions from other professionals to take control of your life.
