Easy To Use Re-heatable and Re-freezable Therapy Gel Packs
About a month and a half ago, I woke up after what I thought was a normal night of sleep, and quickly realized that something was wrong with my right shoulder. It was a feeling I had never felt before, something radiating from my shoulder or back of my neck, all the way down to the tips of two of my fingers. I called my doctor and explained what was going on, and she was convinced that it was a pinched nerve based on how I was describing it to her.She explained that I needed to keep it as immobile as possible for at least a few weeks and that I would hopefully gradually feel back to normal. In addition to not playing ball for a few weeks, I took Advil as needed, and alternated cold and heat as much as possible during the day.To facilitate this rest period for me, I bought these TheraCare reusable gel packs. I chose TheraCare because there were two in the pack, so I could use one for heat therapy, and one for the cold therapy. For cold, just put one in the freezer, and within an hour or two, the gel pack becomes very cold, but moldable to the shape of the shoulder so it stays on quite well. For the heat therapy, simply place the pack on a paper towel in the microwave and heat for 50 seconds. Then place on the sore spot and let the heat work for you. The heat should help improve circulation. These gel packs are super easy to use.So after a month, after doing what I could daily as far as hot and cold therapy, Advil, and keeping the shoulder as immobile as possible, I was able to return to the ball field. I played two games that night, and had no pain during or after or the next morning. I have no way of knowing how much each of the things I was doing actually helped me, but I do think that these TheraCare packs worked well for me.Thera|Care Soft-Touch Reusable Gel Packs – Hot & Cold Therapy – Direct Skin Application – Pain & Swelling Relief – 2-Pack with Instructions – Flexible & Comfortable

Great ice pack
I injured my knee recently and my PT says to be sure I’m icing regularly. This is filled with gel that you can still sort of smush around to get it where you want it. I did make a couple sleeves for my ice packs, just to save on the towels, but it’s just a couple pieces of flannel that I sewed like a pillowcase. This helps keep the ice directly off my skin, but I can keep the pack and the sleeve clean. No issues with leakage, I ice 2-3 times a day depending on my pain level, so I’d say it gets heavy use. I haven’t used for heat applications, I’m not there yet, but for ice this is great.

They work great
I got these to help with sore shoulders and occasional joint aches, and they’ve been really handy. The packs are soft and flexible, so they sit comfortably on my body whether I’m applying heat or cold. They hold temperature well and stay cold or warm longer than I expected.I also appreciate that they can be used directly on the skin without irritation, and the instructions make it easy to know how long to apply them. The only minor thing is that they can feel a little heavy when draped over certain areas, but overall they provide solid relief and are convenient to have around.

Love that they stay flexible and pliable
These reusable gel packs from TheraCare were a lifesaver for the recovery period I had with tennis elbow. I really liked that you could freeze or microwave them for cold or hot therapy, respectively, so they can be used for a variety of purposes. These gel packs come in two different sizes, but both are small enough to be travel-friendly. My favorite feature about these gel packs is that they have a flexible and pliable design so that they can fit comfortably anywhere on the body. Overall, I think these gel packs are worth a purchase to have on hand when you need pain relief.

Nice cold packs
I run hot and frequently use ice packs to help me feel cool and comfortable. I like that this set has 2 packs of different sizes that can be frozen or refrigerated. They’re soft and squishy to the touch and easy to use. Price isnt currently listed so I can’t comment on value. They work well and stay cold. I’d order them again if needed.

Durable and reliable
These TheraCare gel packs are great! The pack comes with two different sizes, one small and one larger, so I always have the right fit whether I’m icing a knee or using it on my shoulder. Each gel pack even has the instructions for use printed right on it, which is convenient and takes the guesswork out of heating or freezing. The material feels durable and strong, not flimsy like some other gel packs I’ve tried. It doesn’t seem like it would rip easily, even with frequent use. For $8, getting two large, reusable gel pads is an excellent value.I keep one pack in the freezer so it’s always ready for cold therapy, and I store the other in the cabinet so I can quickly heat it up when needed. They hold both heat and cold for a reasonable amount of time. If you suffer from sore muscles like me, these gel packs are great to have on hand.
