I LOVE these thigh high compression stockings!
I’ve been wearing knee-high compression socks for the past several years for neuropathy pain in both feet and lower legs. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency in both legs, and I’ve been having foam ablation treatments (2 so far, 4 more to go). The vascular doctor recommended I get some thigh-high stockings to wear for a few days after the ablation treatments (after the bandages come off, which you have to wear for 2 days) as it helps with recovery from the procedure.I wasn’t crazy about the idea, because the bandages they wrap your leg with are so darn uncomfortable, and they restrict your movement so much (can’t bend your knee, and they’re so tight)! So I thought the thigh-high stockings would feel the same. Well, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised, because the stockings were so comfortable, and made my legs feel so good! They offer much more support than just the knee-high ones, and I noticed even more of a decrease in my leg pain when I wore them.One tip I would offer is to be sure you order the correct size. Take a good look at the sizing chart, and make sure you use a tape measure to get accurate measurements of your calves and thighs. These measurements, along with your shoe size, will ensure the proper fit.For reference, I wear a size 10.5 women’s shoe, and I am 5’9″. My legs are quite long (my height is all in my legs!) and fairly thin. I ordered the size XL toe-less style, in the color black. They fit me absolutely perfectly, so I will definitely order the same size and style next time.The quality of these compression stockings is excellent! The black color is opaque, and the fabric is a good thickness. Not so thick that it inhibits your movement, but thick enough that it supports very well, and won’t snag or get a hole in it easily.I am extremely happy with my purchase, and as I said, I will be purchasing more of these very nice compression stockings!

So far they are good.
So far so good. I’ve only worn them a few times for a trip we are on. They did slide down the last time I wore them, but we will see how they do on the rest of our trip.

Good for knee surgery recovery
I used this for recovery after knee replacement surgery to reduce swelling. They are tight – as they need to be. It’s difficult to pull them on given the tenderness of the leg and its limited ability to bend. But that’s not the fault of these socks. They worked well for me and held up well for a few washes. I stopped using them after a few weeks so can’t speak to their long term durability.

I bought these for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loves them. She needed compression for her varicose veins that were starting to become painful in her upper thighs and she received them yesterday and immediately tried them on to let me know that they felt great they weren’t too tight and they already started to help her with her pain. Great buy.
