Navigating ALS is a nightmare. Navigating ALS as a Veteran, and spouse, is confusing, overwhelming, and extremely frustrating. This has served as a reliable resource during our journey. The clear language, examples, experiences, and format are well organized and applicable. If I were able to, I’d provide all Veterans with ALS this book. I highly recommend it.

This book changed our lives
When my father was diagnosed with ALS I didn’t know what to do to get him the right care he needed. This book changed our lives for the better! It has essential information that eased my frustration as a caregiver not knowing what to do or where to start. The authors share information on who to contact and which forms to fill out and that eliminated the frustration of going through many different departments in the va to no avail. Thank you for this helpful book.

Helpful and relatable
We’re still waiting on my Dad’s diagnosis. I bought a couple copies of this book so that we can be better prepared for what may be in our future.
