Customers say
Customers find the pill dispenser reliable and worth the money, appreciating its ease of use for setting day and time, and how it helps keep track of multiple medications. The timer and alarm features receive mixed feedback – while customers can see the current time and set alarms on the hour, some mention the time display is inaccurate and the alarms can only be set on the hour. The noise level is also mixed, with some finding the beep pleasant while others say it’s not loud enough.

Assistive tech for ADHD meds
Is the price for a single bottle crazy high? Yes, but if you constantly question whether you’ve already taken your meds like me, this tool is worth every penny. It has a lot of features that I don’t use, so I can’t speak on the timers and reminder setting. But the one thing I have it for is that it automatically captures when I last opened the bottle. If I’ve opened it, then I know I took it and my other meds at that time. I tried using pill organizers but couldn’t get myself to refill them consistently. I tried a calendar check list and stopped doing it. I bought the things you attach to a bottle to “check it off” manually, and I still forgot to move the marker to “yes.” I didn’t trust myself to push a button on a sticky digital timer stuck to a cap either, so this bottle is perfect for me. I do have to remember to take it (my phone reminds me), but once I do, I can reconfirm later that I actually did. And that’s what the benefit is for me: it’s a tiny assistant that tells me I got it.

Super good, super useful
Have had it for many years guessing well over 8 years – but can’t remember when i got it. Its worked all this time on one battery. Finally had to change it as the display was getting hard to read, but it was working perfectly. Battery changing is not documented, but is easy, 3 tiny Phillips (ph00 screw driver worked great) note the screws are hiding on the inside of the cap just open bottel and look, nothing covers them, take them off and the top comes apart – put in a 357 battery and you are good to close and reprogram. Save your programming instructions or see the short video on youtube for programming, its fairly obvious only after doing it, but a real pain to figure out without instructions. Make sure it beeps when pushing mode while uncapped else reopen and remove oxidation from the beeper, its the flat round gold colored metal which as you put the two parts of the cap together you see two metal legs touch it, they need to touch clean metal. Fantastic product, ended up being well worth the price.

Works! The best there is out there- dont waste your money on the copies
I first bought a cheaper pill timer, also from Amazon – it worked for 1 month then the batteries died. So I got batteries, but it still wouldnt work.So I purchased the e-pill which has been working with zero problems and is worth the money!I love that it tells you the last time you took your meds and has alarms you can program!Thank you for making a quality product.

Works, but with limitations
I use this to take my ADHD meds because shockingly, people with ADHD aren’t good at remembering things like that. The pros are that it’s simple and does exactly what it claims to. It’s just about the only way I can reliably remember to take my meds every 4 hours and quickly tell if I took them already. On the downside, it has some pretty annoying limitations. First you can only schedule alarms exactly on the hour. Given it has a perfectly good clock in it with hours and minutes, this restriction seems pretty arbitrary. Secondly, you have to do the same alarms every day. I typically only take my medication 5 days a week, so that means I have to either deal with extra alarms or leave the cap off the bottle and hope I remember to put it back on Monday. This one’s baffling too, as the bottle also tracks the day of the week, but best I can tell there is little you can do with that information. Third, and this is less of an issue since it’s mostly a set it and forget it item until your meds change, the steps to set the alarms are pretty unintuitive. When I do need to change it, unless I’ve done it very recently, I usually need to go redownload the manual from their website every time because I can never remember how.I spent a lot more time talking about the bad than the good, but it’s not actually a bad product. It’s just that the good part is that it generally “just works” so there isn’t much to say.Oh, and the pricing is absolutely ludicrous. I can see my original order in 2021 and this was $30, which was already high. The fact that the price has gone up 50% in 3 years for a product that I’ll eat my shoe if it costs them more than $5 to make is crazy. But the truth is, there aren’t really any comparable options and they know it, so if this is what you need to take your meds consistently, it works well and gets my (grudging) recommendation.

Just do it
I had an annoyingly long period of time where I was taking opioid pain meds on a consistent basis. Every time I did not take one on time the pain would be difficult to beat back again to a tolerable level. Consequently, I was also not sleeping well. I was rarely completely certain if I took my pill or not. I tried writing it on a notepad and keeping time on my phone. I would write the time down, clear the alarm or timer on my phone, then maybe doze off or get distracted and an hour later wonder why it feels like I did not take my pill. Did I actually take it or just get ready to take it?It was frustrating, ineffective and potentially dangerous. So I found this. And tried it. And it fixed the problem. I did not use the alarm function, just made sure the time was correct and I understood how it worked. And then, the question of did I take my last pill, or when did I last take a pill, became easy to answer. I could even read the time without my glasses. If you think you need this, or it would help, then just do it. Though as a single bottle, it is for ONE medication with timed doses. Not so much your multiple daily meds.Solid function that tells you when you last opened the bottle.
