I no longer worry about falling!
Outstanding! The bathtub is now safe. As long as you install this set properly, with a good, solid wall, using the screws provided or better, it is rock solid and very helpful! Looks great. Moves easily. Very strong, not flimsy at all!We can now take showers and not worry about slipping or falling without anything to grab onto. 5 stars all the way!

Stability could be better, but quality of article is excellent.
I rated this a 4 instead of a 5 due to the design of the mounting bracket, though this does seem a bit unfair (see below). Otherwise. the quality of manufacture and use , is as would be expected.For a residential wood framed home there is no option or mounting configuration / holes that allow for spanning across more than one stud. This is really less a failure of the device, than something you should understand before buying one of these since they are not cheap. If you are going to mount this on wood studs the mounting bracket really only allows for drywall anchors and one stud access in a vertical line – this allows for horizontal movement and a sense of instability – even though I used 5 inch fasteners through the studs and it isnt going anywhaere – thre is side to side motion. Drywall anchors are inappropriate for this, even 1225 pound anchors eventually loosened. The only way this could fix that is to have a mounting plate option that extended 16-24 inches wide, and this is not really appropriate and would be price prohibitive I expect. However, a workaround is mounting it first to a structural wooden plate that does cross multiple studs – but again this becomes fairly cumbersome. As a result, I would be cautious if using for a residential wood frame install.

Bar is great. Wall fasteners SUCK. Plan on mounting a board to wall first…it’s the only way it will work on a home wall.Toilet paper wire needs to be farther forward on bar.

Use in shower
Got this after staying in a hotel that had this type of fold up rail. It works well to add support for tile shower with built in bench. I use the hook to hang my soap sponge. I particularly like the fold up feature.

Beware of installing
Mounting stud not suitable for 1/2 inch sheet rock and will not support. They did not supply any other anchors. Not designed for 2×4 stud mounting

Hire a professional if installing in dry wall area and get new mounting screws
Not really for dry walk and instructions aren’t clear enough on how to install it properly. Will definitely need professional help to install it. The stand is sturdy but if instruction were clear then it would’ve been better
