Very Well-Made Looks Great
This grab bar is very well made and easy to assemble the textured top rail makes it easy to grip. I put this in for my elderly father I did not use the supplied hardware as I was attaching it to the wall stud with 2×1/2-inch screws. It looks much nicer than the typical rails that bolt to or sit around the toilet and is much stronger if you are able to mount is securely.

Lightweight bar rail for toilet
Before our bathroom remodel we only had the grab rail mounted on the wall next to the toilet. I discovered that people visiting were using our vanity to help support themselves on the non-wall side. Problem solved with this wall and floor mounted grab bar! Yes, a small sized vanity was installed during the remodel (we also went from a tub to a walk-in Shower which took up a bit more space.

Best choice for our use
Very sturdy when installed properly. My mom pulls on rails and the other types of bathroom rails that are freestanding would pull over. Anchors are provided, but not good. If you can’t screw into a wall stud, buy the type of anchors that open behind drywall for better hold.

Dangerous product
We installed 2 of these on either side of a toilet. Both of them begin to wobble at the wall they were mounted too. They broke loose at the weld We installed 6 other handicapped bars including by another toilet with a contractor who suggested I write this review because they can cause a fall I’m writing this after the 30 day return period because we didn’t get to installation because of other projects being done. Amazon should remove this product before someone gets hurt. This was no fluke when you have 2 of them fail within 3 weeks.

not worth money
not overly impressed. the leg is attached to the upper section with a threaded union. does not tighten can easily strip the threads. wont buy another, lacks quality and safety.

Life saver
I got my bathroom redone. I have a neurologic movement disorder and decided to get this grab bar. BEST money I ever spent! Its amazing for on the potty or getting in of out of the shower… I would def recommend this to anyone with movement issues!!!
