After trying different kinds, this was the easiest to ice my wrist
I needed to ice my wrist. I purchased other varieties but this one was the one I kept and used. Why?1) it’s the easiest set up. You just put this in the freezer and put it on. Unlike others, there isn’t a separate ice pack that needs to be frozen then inserted into a sleeve. This is all in one, all put together. Just put the whole thing in the freezer2) putting it on is easy. You just slip it on, it can be a bit of a squeeze but not terrible. I found others to be more troublesome. Others often require you to use velcro and strap it on, but that’s really difficult when you have no hands to use since you are putting them on your hands. So this slip on style Is helpful3) the coldness doesn’t last forever but it lasts enough for how much you should be leaving it on for. They say not to leave it on for more than 15 min and that’s about how long it lasts for.

Fits really well and is very comfortable. It’s also very nice and cold when you first put it on, but unfortunately like many other reviewers mentioned; it does only stay cold for about 5 minutes which was a bit disappointing. I decided to keep it, as it is convenient when I want to be able to move around when icing my hand. But a traditional ice pack definitely stays colder much longer and therefore works better to really ice my hand/wrist. If you really want the convenience of this, highly recommend buying multiple of it so you can switch them out to get a full 15 minutes of icing in.

Good but inconsistent
I’ve purchased 3 of these, the first two I liked, pretty flexible and I can use them while working.But one was a bit small and it was past the return window so I just bought a third (I have pain in both my wrists). The third was extremely stiff. It looked the same but felt like a completely different product. It was the same size as the larger one I already had, but I could barely get my hand through. I asked for a replacement and that one was the same, too stiff to use. So I returned it too and am not going to try again.They all definitely have the issue others mention of only staying cold for 5-10 minutes, but I don’t really mind that. I use it multiple times throughout the day.

excellent ice pack wrap!!
I bought this ice pack wrap to use on my knee which had started acting up about 20 years after prior arthroscopic surgery for chondromalacia of my patella (inflamed cartilage behind my kneecap). It fit perfectly, as I am a small woman; subsequently, I had restarted playing tennis and a few weeks ago developed a mild tennis elbow. It works perfectly pulling it up over my elbow to a few inches above my elbow joint to ease the pain tremendously. I also had bought the smaller version of this ice wrap for one of my hands which has moderate to severe arthritis at the basal thumb joint. I have yet to microwave either one of these, mostly because I just keep them in the freezer for icing purposes and to microwave they recommend starting at room temperature. Well worth the money, they work well for icing painful areas repeatedly.

Feels great when cooled, for carpal tunnel relief. Isn’t very supportive like a brace. This is more of a sleeve. Ordered a small, fits perfect . Unless you have really big hands/wrist and arm, I’d get the small. It’s stretchy.

Temperature & fit problematic
TEMP: With overnight in freezer, felt icy cold less than a minute. After 5mins soda can felt colder. Tried twice with a timer, same result. Bigger problem for me was the 3/4 inch seam (see photo) without gel pack. This ironically is where most (with De Quervein) including myself needed icing. FIT: I expected no compression due to small wrist (5.2) but this falls off with simple shake (see video) and gel pad doesnt maintain full contact with skin unless pressed down. Perhaps more useful for hot pack for larger sizes. Item looks well made otherwise and feels good against skin.

Wrist cuff is shorter than expected. Heats up ok but doesn’t maintain heat. Sections heat up at different rates so the temperature is not evenly distributed. If wearing as an alternative to a fingerless glove, it works ok – feels a bit like neoprene but the idea is to add heat. Fit for purpose is questionable.
