UPDATED: Overall this unit satisfies all my requirements.Cons:The Wifi signal strength seems lower than other smart plugs.You have to use their app to configure. Yet another username and password to remember.Pros:It integrates with Home Assistant using the TP-Link Smart Home integration.The outlet size that goes into the electrical box is smaller than other smart plugs and fits better into the electrical box in the wall.Works with wpa2-personalPairing:1. Need to use their phone app.2. Be sure to keep your phone with in 18″ during pairing.3. Make sure the device can phone home via internet. Otherwise the app will fail to pair. Even though it is connected to your wifi.4. If you have multiple units you’ll need to use IP or local DNS to attach to HA.

Replaced all of my Wemo plugs and switches recently with TP-Link. Installation of everything, including this double outlet) was fast and simple. Works great with Apple Home.

I was looking for something discreet to monitor energy consumption and this definitely is the best product I have found. Setup was very easy. I was leery because other similar products require thread border routers for all capabilities and this doesn’t. All you need is the app and Wi-Fi. It connects directly to Wi-Fi after initial Bluetooth setup. The app appears to have all the functionality I see needing.

Easy to set up and control
This was easy to set up and it works perfectly. The two outlets can be controlled separately and I can see the power use of each. The only negative so far is that it is a tight fit in the outlet box. If you have extra wires it may be a problem.Five stars for now, but I hope this lasts longer than the tapo plugs I had. They started to fail this week.

Es brutal. Aunq no lo he puesto bien porque pronto pintaré toda la casa y lo acomodaré. Pero es espectacular. Te muestra el consumo puedes controlarlo desde el cel, programarlo y muchas más funciones. Vale la pena. Pronto cambiaré uno o dos más en casa.
