Transfer board
This is useful for someone with limited mobility for smoother transfers making it less physically demanding for everyone involved. The board feels sturdy and durable particularly for a lighter individual. The slide sheet is not needed if wearing clothing that already supports an easy transfer. It is good if needed to prevent skin coming into contact with the board though.The video on how to use it was definitely helpful for those that are new to their use. Being FSA eligible is also a plus to manage costs. The board is effective and works for our purpose.

Might work for someone else, but not for us. It is not thick enough, not slippery enough, awkward to use. The slide cloth is more of a tablecloth material and does not slide at all. Definitely not what I expected.

It works great
My wife had a knee replacement and this has been working out perfectly for getting her in and out of the car. I`m heavier than my wife so I tested it first, going from a wheelchair into the car. It did flex a little but was able to support my full weight (240) with both legs suspended off the ground with full weight on the slide. We did not use the included slide blanket as sliding was easy with pants or a dress on, (it might be useful if using to enter a bathtub ?) My wife had full use of one leg so that certainly helps with egress. All in all we are happy with the product and it works well for our short term usage.

This is a nice Transfer Board with Slide Sheet (28″x28″) and works well when transferring folks who may be unable to stand or walk from one surface to another. I have used a lot of slide boards transferring my elderly parents from their wheelchair to a bed, toilet, chair or car, and the addition of the slide sheet is new and does help reposition. Maximum weight is 440 lbs per company’s instructions, and has an anti slip bottom. While it does have the cut out grip handles, this particular transfer board does not have the cut outs for attaching to a pole, such as a wheelchair arm or bed rail.
