Best option for comfort
This has been a huge help for me in caring for my mom. We have used standard gait belts in past but she hates them and I always feel like I am hurting her when I have to actually pull at all to assist her. She is large busted and larger in the middle also so it is hard to place standard gait belts comfortably. It can be positioned to come around the front and hook above the breasts but still have the back supporting down to almost the waist so there is not all the pressure in a narrow area. It has a very comfortable sling style back so it supports her over a larger surface area and makes it much less work to assist her to standing position. She loves it compared to others we have used. Love the various grip points on both sides also. They’ll buckle is easy to clip and release but still holds securely. Much easier than having to loop like a belt every time. Once it is adjusted for her size, you are done and just have to clip for each use. Very sturdy and well made. I use it mostly to assist her from sitting on edge of bed to standing and it has saved my back! I am so glad I found this!!

Doesn’t slide under easily
It doesn’t slide under a bedboud person easily and you can’t leave it under them because the handles are bulky and it’s small. I used for a 100 lb woman and it just seemed too small.

Seems sturdy and of good material. I like the bright color coding of the grab handles; makes it easier to get an even grip. Makes it easier to stand patient up from bed or chair.

It took two of us to take my over 200 lb mom anywhere in the house. The sling is saving my back and now only one person needed. Originally purchased after her last fall, but now she wears it all day. It’s less painful for her and us!

This item is really helpful, as my wife is bedridden, but I want to keep her private so no pictures. However, it works well to move her and turn her. Due to the many layers of straps, you can do loose movement or tight movements. So if you need to move the person who is heavier you can easily do so.
