Did Not Disappoint
Item description led me to believe these glasses were worth trying — and the seller did not disappoint. Better quality and better price than those carded ones at the local all-mart store.I was prompted here to rate these for their “Light weight,” “Comfort,” and “Sturdiness” qualities. I gave them 5 stars for sturdiness and left the others blank, even though I would like to rate them highly in those other areas. Here are my reasons. The glasses *are* light weight, if not quite as feather-weight as some others I have had — but I consider that a GOOD thing, because the comfort of those lighter glasses came at the cost of quality; all of them broke or became bent way too easily. These, being made of sturdier materials , may be ever so slightly less lightweight, but I view that as a huge plus. I expect these to last much longer than the last few cheapies I bought at allmart. As for comfort, I like the spring-loaded temples — and the smoothness of those plastic pieces that rest on and behind your ears. I have had other glasses with very slight ridges on the ends (probably due to the molding process), which can become irritating with long periods of wear These do not suffer from that. Nice and smooth. Yet, I cannot give them an honest rating for comfort because they are just a tad bit too small for me. That won’t stop me from wearing them, though, because in every other way, I really like these glasses (though I would prefer the lenses were slightly larger, too). I just won’t wear them for hours on end; I will need to find larger glasses — hopefully from *this seller* — for long reading sessions.Whatever shortcomings I mentioned, those are on me. I don’t know what size glasses I need for my large skull, but I’m learning. Also, take a good look at the lens size. I suspect that the fit and lens size will be fine for most people — and for those people, I think they would be happy with these glasses.

Really solid offering, but could use more durability in the hinge
I’m a huge fan of progressive glasses. I spend my days working at a computer screen, and need to have the ability to quickly switch from reading a computer screen, to updating a paper document, to conversing with others. And these progressive readers do exactly that.As I have aged (I’m in my 60s), I have upped my prescription a bit, but I’ve come back to this brand because they’re the best bang for the buck. If I had only one reason to detract from making it a five-star recommendation, it would be because the hinges do tend to get out of line, and it’s a pretty fragile assembly. When they fail, they always fail right around there and the in the nylon thread/wire that that holds the lenses in place. But given that they are low profile and do not have full frames, this is the price one pays.

Ok Readers but diopter is not true
These readers do have good quality optics, and frames but there were some issues.Optics are great, no scratches, no distortions, no tints. The lenes are about half height, which is ok for me, it’s a style choice that compromises on function. I’m happy with the lens! The primary issue, the 1.00 diopter is more like 1.25, as they have a focal distance of less than 0.8M vs. where they should be which is 1M. This makes these glasses pretty much useless for my needs. So much so, I just ordered more readers from another company. It’s ok, I needed spares anyway.Another issue is the nose pieces, they have sharp edges, and while the edge doesn’t contact your nose, it’s still there. Is it so much to ask to deburr the nose pads and wires? Some home rework with a file can fix it, but come on! I would gladly pay more for a fully finished product.Frames aren’t wide enough for me, smaller than other readers I’ve bought on Amazon. (I knew this buying them) The ear pieces are spring based, so they’ll accommodate my big head.If you’re wondering, these glasses do not have anti reflective coatings and are not blue blocking. I hate blue blocking readers because they tint everything yellow. I’m happy someone is still making clear readers! It would be nice to offer the anti reflection feature (AR). That would be a major plus.

Good Quality, Good Fit
I have purchased these on several occasions, and find the construction quality to be quite good, and they work well for me as readers. Unlike some others I have purchased, the earpieces stay tight and have a good feel to them when you close them. I have a rather large head (some say I have a thick skull…) and yet these fit me fine.
