Great Fit for Wide Faces and Affordable Convenience
As a BBW size 26/28 with an extremely wide face, finding comfortable and proportionate glasses has always been a challenge. The TruVision Readers Reading Glasses, with 60mm wide lenses, were the widest I could find, so I decided to give them a try.To my relief, they fit wonderfully and are comfortable to wear. The package includes several pairs, which is great because I can keep some at home and some at work.The affordability of these readers is another big plus. Every year, my eye doctor would tell me that I’d need glasses when I turned 40. I always laughed it off since I’m now 48 and can still see better than perfect 17/20. This year, my doctor checked me for readers and recommended 1.5 readers.I tried some readers on in the store, but they were all too small for my face/head. He suggested I get over-the-counter, but every pair I tried in stores was way too small for my face as well.It feels a bit strange to wear them on the tip of my nose to read and then look over them, but it’s amazing how much I actually needed reading glasses. Weirdly, looking at my phone without the readers after using them gave me a headache. I’m getting used to it. I really like these readers and highly recommend them for anyone struggling to find glasses that fit a wider face comfortably.I was shocked at how thin they are, but glad when looking over them. I just got them but they seem sturdy and I really like them.

TruVision Delivers All The Value It Promises … and More!
I am pleased to add my five-star review of these glasses to the over 1,200 that have been offered to date. Here is a product that truly delivers excellent value for money, but what is more, TruVision is clearly making a concerted, and in my experience successful, effort to understand and solve the problems people have with their readers.I imagine most will agree that buying readers from Amazon.com is at least a daunting challenge. I just tested searching the string “2.75 power reading glasses.” Amazon returned well over 20 pages of offerings. As with the original search that led me to TruVision, most of them hyped price and style. Then I happened to click on the Truvision link. Yes, paying $29.95 for the four pair put the TruVision readers among the pricier of the offerings. .But price seldom equals cost, where the latter depends primarily on the value being delivered. In my case, rather than hype its price, TruVision talked about listening to what people say, that they hate screw that back out, springs that grow weak, bows that bend and break. In other words, TruVision stood out in this far flung herd of vendors as the one who is offering solutions, not just a box full of readers. The very substantial value being delivered equates to a commensurately low cost.And, sorry it was captured in my Spam filter the first time, how surprised was I to receive a personal email asking me to confirm that the power stated in my order was indeed the power I wanted to buy? Wow! Here is an absolute first in my decades of being an Amazon Prime member.I run a busy wood boat restoration shop, and have reached the point that, without readers, the very detailed work we do has become a blur in the absence of readers. I have been frustrated until now, however, as the myriad of competing offerings I have tried just do not hold up against sliding off a hull onto the concrete floor, getting twisted in a pocket when I reach over something hard. The competitors quickly get so sloppy they cannot be pushed up onto my forehead or head without falling into a pool of paint remover, or worse, varnish.And scratch? I swear the others will scratch under the force of a fingernail.Not the TruVision readers I am happily using now. First of all, unlike the cheap packaging and sleeves others have arrived in, my readers arrived in a smart, proprietary box in which I found each pair snuggled in a very nice, draw-string cloth sack. Talk about adding value to the brand.So far they have more than met, and even exceeded my functionality criteria. I have three pair sitting around in the shop, which means they are at the mercy of my crew, as well as my own propensity to push them off a boat or forget they are in a pocket when I sit down. The bows have remained tight and true. The screws show no signs of backing out.The only issue is that it will take me so long to wear these four pair to failure that I will lose my link to the TruViision link.I bought what I thought would be bomb proof in the shop, but noticed as I perused TruVision’s other offerings on Amazon.com today, that it does also offer more stylish alternatives.Yes, I recommend making this vendor your first stop whenever you are shopping for eye ware. These people impress me as willing to climb mountains if doing so will help them provide you the solution you seek..

Springs are two weak
The reason for only three stars is that when I look down, the glasses slide off of my face because the springs are not strong enough, and just so you know, I’ll wear an extra large motorcycle helmet so it’s not that my face is too thin, these glasses do not stay on well at all.
