Useful Tool for the Kitchen
I’ll be honest, I was super skeptical when this showed up. The box showed a little triangular area for the adhesive, and it only came with three quarter-sized pads—I didn’t think it would hold at all. But surprisingly, it’s stuck on strong and works way better than I expected! It makes opening jars so much easier. You just slide the jar in, twist, and done. I usually struggle with jars, but this thing has really helped a lot.

Save your hands
If you have elderly parents or trouble opening jars and even water bottles then this is a must. I really like that it included double sided tape so I didn’t have to use the screws to put it into place. Even with the double sided tape it holds very well and strong as it doesn’t move when turning a big jar to open it. Really convenient to have and ease of use.

Only complaint… I forgot I installed it!
I can only ask where this thing has been all my life… or at keast my older years. As the husband, it has been my job to take care of spiders, get things off of tall shelves… and open tight lids. Getting older, I’ve been riding the struggle bus a bit with hand strength. I saw this contraption and ordered it.Before even trying it, the first thing I liked was how low profile it is. I was pretty sure I wouldn’t even see it once installed. I got my cordless out and had this installed easily under a cabinet near our stove in just a few minutes. And I was right… I coukdnt see it.First chance I got, I had a jar in it and lo and behold, it worked like a champ! So this thing is low profile and fits nicely out of sight under most cabinets, makes opening jars easy, and isn’t expensive at all… two enthusiastic thumbs up!Now I did have one complaint. I dont have to open too many jars and a week later when I was opening the next jar that I need a little extra oomph for, I totally forgot I installed the thing. My wife watched me struggle and asked “didn’t you install that jar thing?” After the obligatory face palm, I used the opener and off the the lid came with ease. Call that “out of sight, out if mind.”

Nifty device for unscrewing jar lids, with a bonus feature!
The Ucerdveos Under Cabinet Lid Jar Opener worked wonders! It saved my hands just today from struggling with a pickle jar.Truthfully, I was a bit skeptical of how well it would work when I first mounted it, since I know I would have trouble attaching the device onto the bottom of my cabinets with the accompanying screws (I could not get under the cabinet enough to be able to see where to place the screws); instead, I used the used the double sided sticky discs on the underside (which were, amazingly, also included!) to affix it to the under-surface of the cabinet.Lo and behold, it worked great when I attached it, and it has not lost its grip since! And it easily fit behind my LED light strip along the edge of the cabinet underneath, for which I was very grateful.The one weird thing I had to get used to was the fact that, while I normally hold a jar with my left hand, and unscrew lids counterclockwise from the jars (you know, it’s the “lefty-loosey” rule, and all that), you have to approach things differently. You see,when you hold a jar up to the device, you literally need to unscrew the base from the top, which means that you must turn the base in the “righty-tight” direction. That took a little while for me to get used to, but now I’m a pro at it.It’s also nice that the device has a bottle opener on the side, which you can use for bottles of pop or beer.I really should’ve gotten this kind of a device before, to save my wrists!

When it absolutely positively has to be opened right now
For such a simple design, this jar opener is amazingly effective! I didn’t think much when I opened it, but this is definitely one of those examples of a simple design being fully up to the task.When I opened the box, I found that the mounting screws were included, but it had 3 double-sided adhesive stickers to be able to hold the opener in place under the cabinet to make installing the screws a very easy process. As for the mounting screws, they even included 2 longer ones and one shorter to match the needed length, as two mounting points had thicker sections to go through and one was thin. Having the two different lengths guaranteed that the screws didn’t extend through the bottom of the cabinetOnce mounted, my wife or I have been able to easily open any jar or bottle that didn’t easily open. We don’t even bother anymore with the old ways of running the lid under hot water, or using a rubber pot holder, or all the ways we used to use. If the lid doesn’t open, we put it into this opener, twist, and its open. And being under the cabinet, it’s always available and totally hidden.If you’ve ever found a jar or bottle lid difficult to open, save your sanity and your hands and get one of these. You’ll wonder why you didn’t get one sooner.

Aide for strength compromised. Allows two hand holding and jar opening. Plastic , weak looking and should be screw mounted. Will see about durability. So far so good.
