Brilliant tool! Needs a safety guard (see photos for DIY guard design)
Nothing in life is perfect, but this peeler is pretty close. It’s a pleasure to look at, and a pleasure to use. It delivers outstanding results, quickly and easily. It is easily the best peeler I’ve ever used in my 50+ years of cooking.Part of what makes this tool great is the blade (see photo 1). Being both serrated and sharp, it cuts through material like an industrial laser, even with almost no pressure applied.Like any other tool, it must be used thoughtfully to ensure user safety. The blade slices through human flesh just as easily as it slices through vegetables. (My wife and I can both attest to this.)I found the risk of cutting myself is highest not when using the tool, but when handling the tool before and after using it. My putting this exposed blade into a disorganized drawer with other tools was inviting injury.I recommend the manufacturer include a removable blade guard with this tool.Those who already own this tool may wish to consider making a guard. I did so using a short length of silicone rubber tubing (see photo 2.) I used tubing purchased on Amazon (ASIN B07R8BWY65), but I would expect any tubing of similar material and dimensions to work in a similar fashion:(1) I started with a 100mm length of tubing.(2) I made a single cut along the length of the tubing.(3) Along one cut edge, I cut out two windows to allow the prongs of the tool handle to fit through.The result I achieved is seen in photo 3. I find the use of this guard significantly reduces the risk of my cutting myself on the blade when the peeler is not in use.IMPORTANT: If you decide to make a guard for the peeler, recognize that new risks of cutting yourself on the blade might be introduced by the action of putting the guard on the blade, and by the action of removing the guard from the blade. Ensure you understand any such risks, and understand how to mitigate them, before using any guard.

The last potato peeler that you’ll ever need!
This peeler absolutely takes the Cake! The stainless steel swivel blade is sharp and takes off perfect layers every time! It makes prep time a breeze and clean up is quick and easy. I had my old rusty peeler laying around for years and even tried an electric one. Neither of those would stand up to the test of time. This thing is pure quality forged from the metals sent from the heavens above! If you were looking for a new peeler look no farther as this is the last one that you will ever need and will be handed down to your great-great-grandchildren as a family heirloom as this thing will certainly stand the test of time!

Excellent easy to use vegetable peeler
High quality Sharp peeler! This is what I needed. And the materials are excellent and even has a warranty. I peel a lot of vegetables and this is one of the most important tools in my kitchen.It saves on my wrist because I don’t have to push so hard or pull so hard when I’m peeling because the peeler does all the work with its sharp blade.It has a nice handle to grip and it’s a sleek design so it’s comfortable against my skin.

My wife went to culinary school and worked in many restaurants cooking. The speed of this peeler is amazing. Works so good no matter what you are trying to peel. It fits perfectly in her hand and knife caddy. It’s extremely easy to clean. The quality of this item is the best she has ever used.

Let’s face it, peeling potatoes, carrots, squash, etc. for dinner really isn’t very exciting and I would rather be doing something else so I want a peeler that is easy to use and gets the job done quickly. Since I do peel some hard to peel items like squash I need a sturdy, sharp, easy to use and good quality peeler as so many previous ones have broken doing this task. With food allergies in the house, the peeler is going in the dishwasher no matter what the manufacturer recommends so I need a peeler that stands up to vigorous use and dishwasher cleaning. My preference in design is a Y peeler like this one as I find them more ergometric & comfortably designed.Pro’s of this peeler:- Sharp. Great peeling ability which is the best I have used. I have only ever come across one other peelerthat is as good as this one in over 40 years of cooking and it wasn’t dishwasher recommended as itdiscoloured in the dishwasher due to a copper coating on the handle.- Y shape is comfortable to use.- Dishwasher safe. I have been using this peeler for over 2 weeks now and there isn’t any rusting,discolouring, reduced sharpness or any other issues from being dishwasher washed.- Stainless steel Y design is very sturdy and this peeler seems to be able to peel anything I need it to, eventough vegetables like squash.- If you want to buy this as a gift, it comes in a small box that is easily gift wrapped.- There is a 5 year warranty from date of purchase.Cons:- Pricey, but you get what you pay for. I think it is cheaper in the long run to buy this peeler than havingto replace several broken, dull peelers.- I have small hands and it would be great if manufacturers designed different sized tools like peelers fordifferent sized hands for maximum comfort. Just an idea.Overall, this is a fantastic peeler and I recommend it.

Das ist der teuerste Sparschäler, den ich mir jemals gegönnt habe. Er sieht Mega gut aus. Ist aus Metall und sollte Langlebig sein. Die Firma, die diesen Sparschäler Verkauft ist ein Kleinunternehmen, die sich über jeden Verkauften Artikel freuen.Die Verpackung ist auch sehr edel gemacht.Ich hoffe, dass es hält was es verspricht. Falls sich was bei meinem Sparschäler ändert, dann hoffe ich, dass ich die Rezension noch ändern kann.02.09.23 Der Sparschäler ist super gut zu benutzen. Er schält wirklich sparsam und man kann ihn vorwärts als auch rückwärts benutzen. Das erste mal in meinem Leben(55j.) bin ich begeistert einen solchen Sparschäler zu haben. Ich bin super Happy mit dem teil und hoffe, dass er mich überlebt und ich ihn an meine Kinder weiter geben kann, wenn die denn so ein teil haben wollen ^^Ich bedanke mich an die Firma, die dieses teil hergestellt haben.
