Excellent tool, well-worth the purchase for adults w/ communication problems!
A++, Excellent Tool, well worth the purchase! 2-sided laminated card stock board in handheld appropriate size with well chosen picture illustrations that cover common needs and emotions. I am sure this is going to help my 88yr mother that just had a stroke a week ago and is unable to communicate with anyone. This will help her immensely by reducing her frustration level and helping her to communicate her needs to the staff of her assisted living facility and feelings and other things to family and friends. Fortunately her mobility is not impact by the stroke only her communication, called expressive aphasia. She is under hospice and services like occupation therapy and speech therapy are not covered.

Worked wonders
Mom was in hospital and couldn’t speak, this was truly a life saver so she could communicate with family and hospital staff.

Really helped my grandma communicate
Really helped us communicate with my grandmother. I like all the options that she could point to, that it is dry erase and comes with a marker that attaches to the board. Brilliant idea!

For my dad after a stroke
For my dad after a stroke. He still hasn’t rained on his beach so this helps a lot because he was so frustrated that no one could understand him and I purchase this for him so that he could better communicate with the staff at the hospital and the rehabilitation center. And it has been a lifesaver. I did put in magic marker but this does not belong to the hospital it was longs to our family so that when they transferred him it went with him.

Should be standard equipment in ICU.
Why this amazing communication board is not in every hospital is a mystery to me. The poor nurses were reduced to guessing games, until I bought this excellent product. When it was no longer needed by our family member, we gifted it to the ICU Department.A little pricey, but, when someone cannot speak, worth every dollar!

Good for newly trached patients
Got one for my Mom after she had to get a tracheostomy and couldn’t communicate her needs. Had a big variety of useful things one would need in the hospital. Works with dry erase markers.
