Great visual timer with so many useful features and a customizable toggle checklist!
This is a pink visual timer that works really well for my child with autism. It has a countdown or countup timer (1-99 minutes) in the upper left corner that has a cute face and flower petals that disappear as the timer progresses. In the circle below, it has an overview of the day… it shows the date, day, current time, and alarm settings. It also shows the temperature and has cute sun graphic for daytime and moon/stars graphic for nighttime. On the right side, you can create a custom task list using the thin tip dry erase marker, stickers, and task cards provided. I love that you can customize this area to your own needs! Beside each task is a toggle that your child can slide when the task is complete which is great for keeping them focused. The push button controls are all on the back of the timer. This makes it a tiny bit difficult for my daughter because you need to flip it over and find the right buttons to change the date/time/other settings and then you need to push them while you are looking at the front of the clock. This makes it difficult for her (and likely other younger kids) to be able to do it on her own. You use the buttons on the back to adjust the brightness, alarm sounds, volume, set the date/time, etc. You can set 2 alarms and choose from multiple alarm sounds (water sounds, birdsong, Hark The Herald Angels, beep, etc.) For some kids, a loud beep is really stressful or causes anxiety. I love that they’ve included some gentle sounds as alarm sounds too. There are 3 brightness settings and they’re adequate, but I do wish that I could make it even brighter. It’s probably like that to save the battery though. When the timer arrives, it is fully assembled, but you need to charge it with the USB charging cord (provided) before you use it the first time. It has a prop so it will stand upright where it is easier to see. While the set up isn’t complicated per se, I did need to read the instructions to fully understand everything that the timer could do. It only took about 5-10 mins.Overall, I love that this timer is customizable to fit your child’s needs. I love the cute appearance of it and the numerous useful features (countdown/up timer, current date/day/time overview, multiple alarm sounds, custom task list with toggles!) It would be a great help to any child who needs gentle reminders to help them stay on task throughout their day!

Does not work like described
The timer button does not work, which was one of the major reasons why I purchased this was so my homeschooler could a timer or countdown for each subject! Do not purchase. This is product does not work like described.

Good Reminder Tool
Kids often need help remembering to complete important tasks. They need something that will remind them what to do, and in the process help them develop good habits. This visual timer tool is intended for this purpose. This timer arrives charged and ready to go. You just need to set the time and then fill out one of the vertical sheets with the chores/tasks that you want to be reminded of. Then, you insert the sheet into the slot, and it’s ready to use. As tasks are completed, a child can then slide the tab to the right to reveal a checkmark, signifying its completion. There are different sound settings and lighting settings, too.I like this concept because it helps kids remember to get things done. One thing I wish was different is that the last two items on the task list do not have the completion tab to the right. So, whatever you write on these two lines needs to be something that doesn’t necessarily have a yes or no answer. It would have been better if these last two items also had the tab. It gives young people a feeling of accomplishment when they can mark something as finished.Overall, however, this is still a useful tool for kids, and adults may find it useful, too. You can customize it to the chores of your choosing by just writing them in, and then erasing them and replacing if you need to change things up. It’s a cute means for creating self- discipline in youngsters.

Countdown timer and Countup timer did not work.
The timer portion of this product did not work correctly. Everything else worked as intended. I purchased it for the timer portion and because that didn’t work correctly I am sending back to try for a second one

If your person will be upset they can’t check them off, don’t fill in the last two list items.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I saw this on my Vine items and I’d been looking for a new countdown timer. This one looked like it combined a few things and I liked the design.Functionality:This works so well. I like that everything on the digital size is adjustable and I can customize the sound and light levels. Design:This is so well designed except for one thing: The bottom two list spots don’t have a checkbox and so you can’t check them off. Other than that, I love this design so much. Time management:This timer is so helpful and I love the countdown timer. Durability:This feels really durable and I’ve even dropped it a couple times with no ill effect. Ease of use:This is pretty intuitive and comes with good instruction. I think it was very easy to use. This is a great tool. I love it.

Don’t waste your money!
Don’t order it. It’s absolutely awful. Visual timer doesn’t work on ours and it’s very hard for my 10 year old to figure out. Even her occupational therapist hates it.

Kid approved!
This timer is fantastic for productivity because it has a built-in timer, two alarms, the day of the week, time and temperature. You can also choose various sounds. It comes with one white board card and several paper ones. Tasks can be checked off as they are completed. It is very attractive, colorful, and organized well. Highly recommended by my granddaughter. 🙂

Dim and then dark
The product I received is unusable, possibly defective, and so this review isn’t necessarily a reflection of how well the product works if and when it works as designed. The light brightness seems to have only 3 levels, not the 6 stated in the Clock Alarm User Manual. The brightest setting I can get is too dim to comfortably adjust the other settings (date, etc.). and once I have set the time (easy to do, even with the dim visual screen) and am no longer making adjustments, the entire system goes dark.
