Easy to install, bars have a ton of spots to put screws in to mount (some bars have less which make it harder to hit studs).Biggest advice, get yourself a tile bit(s) for drilling the tile. Don’t use the plastic anchors that are included. Do your best to find studs and hit them. If you can’t, there are some great ADA rated anchors out there that will provide the support you need. In that case, make sure you hit at least one stud. Also be sure seal with silicone around the caps to prevent water egress.

JUST WHAT I WANTED!!
These grab bars are essential to us!!! I am a senior citizen who recently fell and had to have surgery on my knee. I needed help getting up from the toilet. I installed these myself and knew that they needed to be screwed into the studs for complete reliability and security. Finding the studs was a challenge, but I got them installed before my surgery. I couldn’t have managed without them!! So thankful that we have them. Great purchase!!!

I needed a grab bar to add ti the one I already had in my bathroom for added safety. I checked the measurements, so what I received was exactly what I need and matches the one I already have. I am already feeing safer in my bathroom.

Grab Bars
Just what I needed to provide a grab handhold at the top of my stairs. The landing underfoot there is at the entrance to my father in law apartment. Previous to the grab bar placement there was no available steady place to grab.

Do not use wall anchors
These 12 inch grab bars do not fit between standard spaced studs which are 16 inches on center. Using a wall anchor, even on one end, is not safe. Either add a backer stud or place the grab bar straight up and down along a single stud. I placed mine in the bathroom by the bathtub vertically. It it easy to hold onto while getting in or out of the tub. I gave it 4 stars as I do not think they should provide wall anchors without any explanation on their risks. Keep safe out there. Us old folk don’t bounce well.
