    Worth every penny.
Great little machine for a good price. A true lifesaver with some nasty back and hip problems. Do yourself a favor and order more of the adhesive pads – if you plan to use this regularly you will go through them quick. Small enough to slip in my pocket to wear throughout the day when I have a bad flare up. Worth every penny.

Wonderful alternative to drugs for back pain
When back pain rears its ugly head, it is easy to reach for the pain killers, because, we can’t stop living our busy lives. This EMS device makes it easy to have a portable non-drug relief for back pain. I could put the pads on myself, even on my back, because the adhesion was so strong and yet it was easy enough to take off, It is easy to hide under clothing and stick the power unit in a pocket or waistband. There are several modes to use. I do wish they had a memory mode so that I wouldn’t have to reset it for each use. The pads last for several uses and stay on even when sweating.

    Basic but competent
This is a basic but competent TENS unit with 2 channels. Everything you need to get started is included in the compact box, including 4 2×2” and 4 2×4” pads with standard 2mm connectors, a belt clip, cables, and 3 AAA batteries. It works about as you’d expect for a TENS unit if you’ve ever gone through the experience at a physical therapist or similar establishment. It’s kind of amazing how affordable these things have gotten. There are a few points of friction that I’ll mention for the sake of thoroughness, none of which I consider dealbreakers or even necessarily actionable issues for the price:- The 22 supported modes are grouped into three categories, but I felt there wasn’t much difference between the categories. In other words, there’s no obvious reason why e.g. a TENS mode would work better than an EMS mode for a given session, or vice versa.- Switching between modes is more annoying than it could be because it requires turning both channels all the way down to intensity 0 first. Allowing mode switches at intensity level 1 or 2 (of 40) would have served just as well for safety.- Speaking of which, I have no idea how anyone would be able to tolerate intensity level 40. Maybe it’s necessary at the very end of the batteries’ runtime.- There’s no way to adjust the 30-minute shutoff timer that begins once you lock in a mode.- The number of included pads is sufficient for a few days at best, although compatible replacements can be quite cheap depending on how hard you look.- Some of the suggested placement locations in the manual don’t make sense, e.g. they show two black electrodes instead of one or more pairs of black and red.- Pushing buttons on the device and plugging in the various cables requires more manual strength than I expected, which will make operating it difficult for a large chunk of the population. This is the worst offense of the bunch and would merit a rating penalty in a more expensive unit.It also bears reiterating that improper use of a TENS unit can result in serious and life-changing injury, so it’s best to maintain a healthy respect for this thing no matter how mundane it eventually seems. Just saying.Overall, I consider this to be a good option for a TENS starter unit that doesn’t lock you into proprietary replacement pads. The cables may also be replaceable, although I’m not sure.

Electrical Impulses Move To The Beat
So this went well after a creepy laugh and an electric chair joke or two, right? Ok, maybe I went overboard but sometimes laughter truly is the best medicine. The tens unit is clearly labeled, easy to use, and even easier to apply. It takes no effort on behalf of the user but to sit and appreciate the help. There was no danger, we are safe.I found this unit to be an inexpensive version of physical therapy devices and was glad it worked. My sister has neuropathy of her hands and feet and this seemed to work well for her hands. It was awkward to remain still but the reward was almost instantaneous relief. This allowed her a bit more freedom of movement along with relief of pain and she was greatly appreciative, even eager to try it on other spots.I think that maybe we have taken medication that has masked her pain rather than relieve it and she was pleased with the relief. Our greatest pain was reading and deciphering the instructions prior to using the unit, after all, she didn’t want me to just hook it up and give her the juice after my sad attempts at humor. Once we got her hooked up and tried it, it was only a matter of adjusting the levels and it was as easy as it gets. I am going to keep this handy, it seems to be a viable alternative for pain relief.

    Works great
After my wife experienced some muscle aches in her upper back/shoulder area and in her legs, we decided to give this TENS device a try. I like how it comes with batteries already in addition to several sets of replacement pads, but I can say right now that I can see those not needing to be used for awhile because the adhesive is amazing even after applying and removing them several times to the skin for use. The adhesive is so good that I caution anyone to definitely remove them gently, but they don’t necessarily hurt excessively to pull them off unless you’re just the type of person who has an extremely low tolerance to pain. The fact that there are 3 options to choose from (TENS, EMS, Massage) in addition to each option offering various levels of intensity is great to fit anyone’s needs. My wife really enjoys using this device to help ease aching muscles. It’s a must have in any home in her opinion for aches and pains so I recommend this device for sure. It’s a great value.

    Great for pain relief
This is a really effective and easy to use EMS unit. It comes with 4 square and 4 rectangles adhesive pre gelled pads. They are reusable and very easy to attach and remove. You can use them many times on different parts of the body. I mainly use them around my shoulders and neck after playing volleyball. The unit only needs 3 AAA batteries to operate, which last for a very long time. The intensity and mode is very easy to change and display works great. If you put the pads on the right muscles, your can immediately feel the comfort and muscle pain relief in the area. I had no issues with the device in the past 3 months.
