The quad can is so sufficient.
I love the way it can stand on its own without falling.

Bottom not as long as the handle
Second cane i have tried from Amazon.Same issue… the cane falls over. This one has a little of a bigger base (4-prong) then another one I bought here. This handle is longer then the bottom causing it to be top heavy. If you are looking to it to be sturdy.. might nit work for you.I need it for both.Maybe that’s why they have the handle strap. To make sure when it does fall.. it is still attached to your arm.Me.. I am not comfortable. I will fall over.. especially if I have to try and catch it.I don’t recommend this item.I really hoped this one would work.Just saying….

VERY NICE HANDY QUAD CANE FOR WALKING AND FOR ASSISTANCE STANDING
This cane took weeks to arrive. It comes in an odd triangular shaped box. Inside it is pre-assembled so that you only need unfold one section and slip it into the notch slot to your preferred height. It fits folks from about 5′ to 6′ 5″ tall, so it’s got a nice range. The weight restriction is up to 250 pounds. The ergonomic handle has a comfortable rubber handle grip to offer peace of mind when leaning heavily on it.The handy little textured stand assist handle is a very clever idea. It really offers that extra feeling of safety and balance for the elderly or recovering patient to stand independently thus preserving their self esteem. Though the stand assist handle is plastic, it has a nice heavy gauge. There’s also a little rubber grip along the inside where the handle meets the aluminum frame – an extra layer of safety from it shifting under pressure. Others have commented that they wish this stand assist handle was metal, but that may cause the cane shaft to buckle under pressure since it’s made of lightweight aluminum. The four-pronged cane feet have slip resistant rubberized tips for a quiet experience and extra grab across a variety of surfaces. It stands pretty well on it’s own, but can tip if accidentally hit a little. We wish that one side of the four pronged base had inline feet. In other words, straight across from one another for the two of the four feet that are on the inside near the person’s feet, and angled on the other side away from the body. Our other quad cane is like this and does a wonderful job of preventing getting our feet caught up in it. And that design also stands beautifully on its own. The included instructions illustrate that the base is just as I am describing, but it is not. All four feet splay outward at the same degree. The instructions even illustrate that the base is the way I described on our other cane, and instruct you how to rotate the base using the included Allen wrench for right or left-handed individuals.Overall very nice but a little bit expensive at $39.99.

Weak metal material.
Worked great until… it Bent on the curved part it actually opened up the metal in two. Similar to when you have bent a thin wire back and forth until it comes apart.Loved it for use in PT and the little handy side assist bar to stand up. Needs to be made out of a more sturdy material.

Very useful
It’s perfect! The little handle on the side is really helpful in helping me to stand up. I love the wide feet for stability

Not sturdy
Kind of wobbly. Bought to use on stairs but would not dare!

Dependable 4 footed cane
I like that this cane has 4-pointed foot which is good support for me. And also an extra’handle’ for support getting up out of a chair. And it’s adjustable height! Good buy.
