Very practical, Easy to set up, and seems reliable
I ordered this VOCA Smart WiFi SOS Pager system for my mom, who is now living alone since my father recently passed. The primary function is excellent: with a simple press of a wearable or wall-mounted button, it triggers a loud alarm on the receiver base station and sends near-instant notifications to our smartphones.Pros:· Effective & Easy to Use: The system works exactly as needed, providing an instant lifeline. Setup is generally simple via the Tuya/Smart Life app, and the range is impressive.· Multiple Alert Options: The system is versatile, offering different types of buttons (wristband, pull cord, call buttons) and the ability to add more. The receiver’s alarm is loud and clear, and you can customize the alert sound.· Great for Independence: It gives users confidence and family members reassurance.Cons:· No Battery Backup: A significant drawback is that the main receiver unit must be plugged in and has no battery backup, meaning it won’t function during a power outage.· App-Dependent & Vague Manual: Notifications require the Tuya/Smart Life app, and you must enable background and lock-screen notifications for it to work properly. The included instructions are unhelpful, though I think most semi-tech-savvy users can figure it out.· The phone app also seems to work more reliably on iPhones than on Android devices.Despite some drawbacks, this system delivers on its core promise. That’s what was most important to me. It’s a valuable, affordable system that provides essential communication.

Good, mostly
So, first off, this works, most importantly. The device pairs to Tuya/Smart Things easily. And all the features within that app are now available to you, I will not review that as it is a major app and has nothing to do with this item. But… this is a small receiver with 2 remote buttons, the buttons trigger the alarm, and once setup in Tuya it triggers an alarm on your phone as well. This is exactly what I was looking for, and this will work fine. Just mount the unit somewhere, plug it in and make sure everything is connected.Which leads to the first problem… it does NOT have a battery. The remotes do, but the main unit must be plugged in, there it no battery option at all. I know, I opened it up to look. The screen does have an icon for battery power, but it is simply not here.2nd problem, the manual clearly says that it comes from factory with paired buttons, but then gives pairing instructions. Which are critical because… the included remotes were NOT paired. So I paired them… and they paired as units 2 and 3? Checking in the Tuya app, I can see the paired devices, which include a “SOS Button” as device 1… but I don’t have it, AND I can’t remove it. I can turn it off, so it won’t alarm this unit, but I can’t remove it. Why?You can also activate pairing mode from within the app, so that’s nice.A word of advice, you do have to set the app to be allowed in background and to allow lock screen notifications in order for the alarm to actually notify you.Basically… it’s good, it does exactly what I need… it can be better, especially with a battery so it doesn’t die in a power failure. And note… as you can see in the pic, there is a spot where a sim card receiver could be installed, but it is not present. Honestly a version of this that can directly dial a cell phone would be pretty good.

Easy Setup, Instant Alerts. Must-Have for Peace of Mind
I ordered the VOCA Smart WiFi SOS Pager to use between spouse and I at our residence. At our age, living in a house with a detached garage, it’s nice to know that if one of us needs help, the other can be alerted instantly, whether we’re inside or outside. Setup was simple, and within minutes we had one button in the house and another in the garage. The alerts come through to the receiver loud and clear, and the phone notifications are nearly instant. The system is easy to operate, which is important especially for seniors who want something practical without being complicated. The waterproof buttons mean we don’t have to worry about placing one near the bathroom or out in a damp outbuilding or carrying it outdoors. We like that it gives us the flexibility to expand with additional remotes if needed, and the volume and tone options on the receiver make it easy to hear no matter where we are. There are small areas that could be improved: the phone app works better on iPhone than Android we found, but that’s minor compared to the peace of mind this system brings. It’s not just about emergencies; it’s about knowing we can reach each other quickly if needed.Overall, I’m glad to have this piece of mind for us as sixty-something seniors who value independence but also want the security of being able to call one another with a single press of a button. It’s simple, reliable, and comforting to have in place.

Life-Saving Peace of Mind for Independent Living
I bought the VOCA Smart WiFi Wireless Alarm Pager for my mother, who insists on living alone — in the woods, no less. While I admire her independence, I’ve always worried about her safety, especially in emergencies. This system has been a game-changer.The kit includes one receiver and three SOS devices: a wristband, a pull cord, and a call button. Setup was surprisingly easy; the WiFi connectivity ensures alerts come through instantly, and the range is impressive — even in a rural setting. Each device is responsive and reliable. My mom wears the wristband daily, and we’ve tested the pull cord and call button multiple times. The receiver is loud enough to be heard throughout the house, and the alert notifications are clear and immediate.Knowing she can call for help with a simple press or pull gives both of us peace of mind. It’s not just a gadget — it’s a lifeline. She feels safer, and I feel more confident that she’s protected even when I’m not nearby. If you have a loved one who values their independence but needs a safety net, this system is worth every penny. It’s reliable, easy to use, and thoughtfully designed for elderly or disabled individuals. Highly recommended.

This safety device is very reassuring for both the person who uses it and those who are concerned for the well-being of an elderly, disabled or ill person. You get a receiver, a call button with a lanyard, a pull cord button (I hung mine in the shower room) and an SOS watch. The set is good value for the peace of mind it gives. The connection to WiFi is ready to use. You can choose from 16 ringtones and the brightness of the backlit display, which shows the time and date, is adjustable. The units are waterproof and the watch is comfortable enough for all-day wear. I’m pleased to have this pager; it allows me independence and gives me a safety net. I know that if I tumble on the stairs or slip in the shower, I can have help at the press of a button.

I recently bought this for my mum who is living on her own, and it has been a game-changer for both of us. Living alone, she now has an added layer of security with this device. The setup was straightforward: connecting the receiver to our 2.4G WiFi network and placing the two call buttons in accessible areas. Now, with a simple press of a button, she can alert me instantly, no matter where I am, thanks to the real-time notifications on my smartphone. I get the notification within seconds. She is reluctant to carry her mobile phone all the time, so she left it unattended somewhere in the house, and in an emergency, I was worried that she could not reach her phone. But she can carry the small SOS button without any worry. The waterproof design of the call buttons means she can even keep one in the bathroom, a common area for slips, without any worries. Additionally, the system allows for multiple users, so other family members can also receive alerts, ensuring someone is always available to assist her. This pager has truly enhanced our peace of mind, knowing that help is just a button press away for my mum. It’s a must-have for anyone with loved ones living on their own.

I have just got this VOCA wireless panic alarm system for my mother house. The system is really compact with 2 panic remotes and the centre unit siren. In testing, the siren is really loud and clear. It can be adjusted into 03 volume levels and 16 ringtones. There is also an LED display for date and time, system information. It is also support WiFi connection for app notification (Tuya App). The remotes can pair with the centre unit siren within 100m (up to 99 remotes) so I can setup one for my mother’s bedroom and one in the toilet (the remotes support waterproof) easily. My mother now can get help anytime she needs.Overall, I would like to recommend this wireless panic alarm system. Really useful for houses having elder people and businesses.
