Solid and easy to use.
Premature review I suspect because I haven’t needed to use this yet–and hope never to have to. But I’ve had two falls in 6 months so better safe than sorry. Mostly having the security of this chair is worth every penny. The biggest challenge with the purchase was the disposal of the large box with styrofoam. The limited amount of assembly was very easy and transporting it from room to room (it IS heavy) is easy due to the rear wheels. There is a storage pocket on back of the chair for the remote. The seat is quite wide and can easily accommodate someone maybe up to 400 lb. It claims weight capacity is 450. I know I can use it easily. The motion is quite slow so I don’t see a need for the seat belt at least not for me at the time, but is good to have. The charging is easy to determine as the up and down buttons are one color when fully charged and another when needing to be charged. Red of course means better late than never. It was a bit of an investment for me but not having to call 911 if I fall again is worth it.Be safe all.

The best floor lift money can buy
I have used every single lift that vocic has made and they are by far the best designers. I use this lift every day and it truly improves my quality of life. It’s solid and stable. The company bends over backwards to support their products. The remotes are easy to use and I recommend this to anyone who has a hard time getting up off the floor.

Easy and sturdy
Very easy to use for my elderly Mom to help my Dad off the floor after a fall. Been a lifesaver!

Product Weight was a Disadvantage
This item was purchased for its heavy duty, max weight capacity of 440 lbs,, and is well-made for that purpose. My elderly wife, however, at 145 lbs found that the 45 lb product weight was too difficult for her to lift and manipulate without assistance in the event that I needed it (325 lb). We exchanged it for the AX25 model, which should be easier for my wife to position unassisted.

Life saver!
Absolutely love this device. Purchased it after my elderly mother fell and we struggled to get her back up. This device solves that problem. It does roll well on non carpet services, but it doesn’t weigh too much so I can pick it up and bring it to the area that is needed. I like that there is a body strap to secure the person. Easy to install. Test it out first so you get the hang of it.

No more 911
The reason I purchased the chair lift is that I can not get up from floor without help and the assembly requires ability to get up from floor (per the instructions). I did it by manipulating the lift so that work area is up.Most people my age prefer larger fonts than the size used in the instruction manual. I was tempted to use my printer to enlarge the manual’s pages and darken the print but opted to skip over everything but the assembly and operating stuff.By explaining that the battery and the charger connector are in the hand controller would simplify first time charger use.The rollers on the short base feet work OK for moving the lift as long as the moving is not on a carpet.I like the folding arms, seat size and seat material. The seat belt could come in handy to keep one from falling out of the seat as they fall asleep during slower than molasses seat raising or lowering. I tried out getting up from floor with the lift and it is just the right tool for me.Preparing for storing will not be possible for me as it will take longer to prepare the short and long base feet for storage than it took for assembly. For those who qualify a doctors recommendation is required to add the cost to an itemized tax return.

Works
Works right out of the box. Slow going up. Extremely heavy to move around if it needs to be picked up. It lifted my 260lb husband off the floor to about waist high to me. Very good.
