I have been duped again for not reading the last line of the product description. The actual product title makes no mention that it isn’t what it is claiming to be: “Wall-Mounted Emergency Call Button with Pull Cord – Elderly SOS Alert System for Home Care, Patient Minitering, Nurse Call Button for Disabled & Bedridden”This product actually doesn’t do anything. It doesn’t light up. It doesn’t sound an alarm.Well, that is unless you hook up the two little wires to some sort of power source which also would have to have some sort of speaker, apparently, in order to perform as a “call button.”I say apparently because it also arrives without any written instructions or descriptions; not even how or to what level power source you would need to connect it and that if you want it to be a “call button” you need to provide your own “alert” sound source.Since I cannot actually confirm that it performs as intended, I cannot recommend this.

Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this call button needed to be connected to something and hardwired. I thought this was a call button that was more like an alarm. Where someone would pull and an alarm would go off in the gadget.I’m not an electrician, and I wouldn’t even know where to begin on using this. Even if I wanted to try, instructions didn’t came with the call button. All I received was the button.I can’t give a review on how well this button works, unfortunately. What I can review is the way it looks and what it came with.As I stated, it only comes with the button itself. The clicker for the call button works well, and it doesn’t stick. Feels easy to push. I didn’t feel like I needed to put too much pressure on it to hear the click. Same goes with the pull cord. I’m able to pull without any issues, and I can hear a click.I would have LOVED this if it didn’t need to be hardwired and it worked like an alarm.I’m giving this call button 4 stars for the ease of the button/cord and knocking one star off for no instructions. It’s my fault for not understanding their product, so I wouldn’t give a low rating for my mistake ♡.
