Customers say
Customers find this pill organizer to be the best they’ve used, appreciating its ease of use for elderly customers and its effectiveness in keeping medications organized for compliance. Moreover, the product is handy for travel and can be taken along easily. However, the compartments and size receive mixed feedback – while some say they’re large enough for several pills, others find them too small. Additionally, durability and closure mechanisms are concerns, with reports of lids breaking within a week and difficulty opening the containers.

Rx management is easier with the 7 boxes in this caddy
I love these pill organizers…that’s definitely a weird thing to say. I find them easy to use and I enjoy the different colored daily boxes. I load them up on Sunday nights and I’m set for the week. Here’s my system – I pull out the boxes for each day, open all 4 compartments for the day, place the open & empty boxes in a shallow box top on my coffee table, and fill them with my daily drugs. I take a lot of medications and have a complex dosing schedule; these daily boxes with their 4 different compartments help me to manage my complex medication schedule. For example I have a medication that I take daily; I have two different dosages of the med and I alternate the dosage each day. I don’t need to remember which dosage I took yesterday because I set it up once a week and ensure that the dosages are distributed throughout the week.As there is an odd number of days in a week I try to make sure that I alternate the 7th day each time I fill up for the week. Sometimes I end up with a few extra pills from one of the dosages at the end of the month. I just add them to the new bottle when it’s refilled and put an “X” on that bottle. This way I know to use that dosage for the 7th day. In the end it’s not a huge problem for me; for someone else it might be more serious. When you are filling the daily boxes with your medication make sure that you are working on a flat and level surface. You also want to be sure that you are set up so if you miss putting a pill in the compartment or if one of the boxes tip over, spilling the pills already in that day’s compartments, you don’t have pills rolling onto the floor. This is why I put the boxes for each day in a shallow box top, like the lid to a clothing gift box. This is especially important if you have kids or pets. I almost learned this the hard way when I missed the compartment and a pill rolled onto the floor. Thankfully I was faster than my dog; he thought I was dropping treats. :(With my schedule of filling the boxes on Sunday evenings I ensure that I am set for the upcoming week. I pick up prescriptions at different times in the month so I have to fill the daily boxes once a week. If all of your prescriptions for the month are picked up, or delivered, on the same day then you can set up your medication for the whole month with 4 of these weekly caddies!Below is how I break out my daily meds, hopefully you find it helpful:I have medication that I have to take in the morning without food; I also have an ADHD med that I need to be working in my system before I wake up and need to be functional. I put these pills in the first compartment of the day labeled “morn”. Before I go to sleep at night I pull out the next day’s pill box, make sure that the water bottle next to my bed is full, and set my 1st alarm for 2 hours before I actually need to wake up…or at least be somewhat functional. When that alarm goes off I don’t even need to look at the pill box because I know that my early morning pills are in the compartment on the far left. If the box is facing the wrong way I won’t be able to open the compartment so I’m confident that I’m not taking the wrong meds; I just flip it around. I take the meds I need, grab a few sips of water, and go back to sleep until my next alarm goes off. I’m so versed and confident in my process that most mornings I don’t even take the sleep mask off of my eyes when I take the early morning meds. The second compartment is for my other morning meds…even though it’s labeled “noon”. I take these just before I leave the house. By this point in the morning I’ve either already eaten breakfast or I’m grabbing something in 30-45 minutes at the cafeteria, on the way into the office.I use the third compartment labeled “eve” for meds that I need throughout the day; I have a little change purse that I put them in when I take the morning pills, just before leaving the house. I also have an alarm set to remind me to take them at specific times of the day.The last compartment labeled “bed” holds the pills I take in the evening and the pills I take at bedtime. Currently, I need to take two pills in the evening, generally when I get home from work. I also have a few pills that I need to take as I’m heading to bed so they all go in that last compartment. I dump the entire contents of this compartment out into my hand, grab the 2 pills I need to take early in the evening, and pop the rest back into the compartment.I really wish that I didn’t need all of these pills and I’m working with my medical team to try to lessen the number I need to keep me alive. For now this is the easiest way of making sure that I’m keeping up on my medications and taking them as prescribed. This system also ensures that I take my medications every day. Before I found these containers I might skip a certain time of day or the full day altogether because it seemed like a daunting chore; a chore that I resented.I noticed that the lettering on the main caddy and the box for each day were beginning to wear off, which annoyed me. I ended up using clear nail polish and putting a few coats over the lettering. I applied a coat on each day’s lettering and let it dry in front of a fan; applying 3 coats total. I also did this to the main caddy that holds each day’s box of pills.

Best pill organizer ever
Best pill organizer ever. My daughter comes once a week to organize my pills and this way we always have a back up in case there was an emergency and she couldn’t come. The individual containers for the day are perfect.

This is the review you need to read
I purchased and returned numerous pill organizers and sharing the journey so you don’t have to.This one is the winner for me and I’ve only identified one issue as other reviewers noted – the words on the containers rubs off quickly. See pics after one week of usage. So this morning I have put some clear finger nail polish on then. This is not a deal breaker because even if does wear off it’s not that big of an issue for me. It’s the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.What I love – they have great snap closures. Several I tried did not stay closed. No issue with these but they are still easy to open. I tried to show in one of the pics.I also like the size. So many are HUGE and I didn’t like that. I don’t want ti carry a rattle in my bag. I can fit what I need to which includes my monster sized Tumeric supplement. You have room for about 2 large supplements plus pills in a compartment.I can’t believe I wrote the longest review regarding pill organizers. Welcome to midlife I guess. LOL. I’m going to go watch birds now.

A great medication holder
I travel quite a bit, and I take meds in the AM and PM, so this container with 4 dividers per day, I can use it to store 2 weeks of meds. Not the smallest, but because it holds 2 weeks (for me), it’s perfect.

Great Value and Easy to Use
I am very pleased with this purchase. The set of two is a great value compared to other 4 compartment, 7 day sets, and I love that only have to fill these once every two weeks. These do a great job of keeping my husband’s 23 daily pills and large supplements organized. Other reviewers have mentioned the compartments are somewhat small, but the key to fitting in this many pills is you need to put the large pills in the bottom of each compartment first.I like that when we leave the house, we can take that day’s box of pills out without having to take an entire week’s supply. I put them in a zip-lock bag just in case one of the compartments pops open, even though that has never actually happened. To those other reviewers who complained about the labels coming off —Pshaw! Have you ever had plastic pill boxes that didn’t have that happen? I just relabel with with a sharpie, and also used a sharpie to write the day of the week on the ends. The sharpie wears off too, but it’s easy to fix. Some people are just too picky! You have to realize that with daily use, no plastic pill boxes will last forever and I stand by what I said about these being a great value.
