Right For Me
I wear a size five women’s shoe. Small feet are hard to find anything for, so I was hesitant to order this. Once I found how it was comfortable for me to wear it, I found it to be a very effective support for my mild drop foot. Without it, my foot would be a tripping hazard, and by the end of the day, would be very “floppy “ and painful. With this brace my gait feels more normal, and I am able to walk further and faster. One weird thing- you get two for around the price of one of the comparable ones. You get a right and a left. In my opinion, it would be of greater value to get two of what you need, whether it be one of each, or two of the same.

Very helpful

Uncomfortable, foot still droped
This didn’t work well on my love one, left marks on her foot and was uncomfortable, back to a small pillow under her foot to hold it up

Velcro and padding.
Fits really well. Seems to help my foot drop. I love the fact that the bottom of the padding on the sole has a hard piece in it which is similar to my afo brace. Also the velcro is great. A lot better than the other one that I bought. The padding is somewhat thicker, so you need to accommodate for that but ive been able to waer it with tennis shoes and sandles.

The product is a 5 starr, 1 off for description/instruction goofs.
This is the 3rd different AFO brace I’ve tried, and the only one that works for me, so far. It is not for someone who has a total foot drop. A hard brace probably would be better for them. I torn the main muscle that lifts up my big toe and foot (anterior tibialis) So I have a partial foot drop. For the novices, a foot drop means you can’t lift your toes (and hence your foot) up when walking and they get caught and you are injured either by direct toe/foot blow or by falling and potentially causing serious injury, to head, hip, etc.Once you figure out how to apply it feels good and gives some (so far enough for me) support.Instruction issues:# 1 SIZE: . When ordering there was “one size”. On the box it states shoe size for men 5.5-10.5 (women 7-12) I wear an 11.5 or 12 mens and was going to return it when I saw there is only one size order-able. Well it is elastic so I decided to try it. I can get it to fit.# 2 The box comes with one brace for the right and one for the left foot. My problem is on my right foot. The diagram/instructions is how to apply for the left foot. Basically there is a sole pad and 4 non equal elastic straps to wrap around your ankle, numbered 1 to 4, to attach with velcro. If you look down at your bare feet they are not equal, but a mirror image of each other (less wear and tear). The scientific term is stero isomers. After stepping on the pad, the next instruction is to wrap the largest strap in a ‘counter clockwise’ direction. Well it didn’t work on my right foot, So with a little trial and error I started with CLOCKWISE on the right and it worked great. Hopefully the manufacturer will correct that as some people might not be as patient. If they do make more sizes, I would love to try the next larger one, but for now, this one works.RECOMMENDATION Yes, but read these additional instructions.

Didn’t help me
I have a really reticent drop foot. Even a fancy carbon AFO only does so much. Every time I see something advertised as helping drop foot, I still can’t help myself from giving it a try. And I still usually end up disappointed. At best, having the new thing on my foot helps me concentrate on my foot enough to temporarily walk a little more normally. That’s about what this item did.

Very good and supportive but too bulky for most shoes. Woks well in my Velcro sandals. Comfortable to wear
Lisa Hunter –
Good quality but didn’t stay in place or help with my specific foot drop issues
Vicky –
Very bulky and not comfortable.
