Not usable for my setup but seems fine on its own
I can’t really use this because it needs the company’s proprietary alarm hub to function. I bought it thinking it would connect to an app since the product description shows images that suggest mobile phone compatibility, but that’s not actually the case. Without the required host system, there’s nothing nothing for these sensors to pair with, so I can’t set them up the way I intended.I can’t give a full usage review because I’m unable to integrate them into my home setup, but the sensors themselves look fine physically. The build seems decent enough for what they are and the indicator light does turn on, so they seem to function at least on a basic hardware level. They’re lightweight and compact, so they would probably be easy to install if I had the proper hub. It’s disappointing that the listing was unclear, but at least the units don’t feel cheap or flimsy. I just wish the product page had been clearer so I could have chosen something compatible with an app without needing a whole separate system.

Inexpensive add-on to Happipofa security system
Bought as an add-on to my Happipofa security system. They have to be set up. It seems as though they weren’t immediately recognized by the system since they were a separate purchase.

    Great sensor for tinkerers
This sensor works very well at detecting the separation of the magnet component from the main body. When the magnet is within about 1 inch from the righthand side the red LED illuminates and it transmits as 433 MHz RF signal that can be detected and decoded by a number of receivers. I do not have the “Hapippofa” Home Security System, but was able to effectively setup and test it using open source software rtl_433 with a cheap receiver. It does not appear to come with an a mobile app.My first use case was as a dogfood drawer sensor used in combination with Home Assistant to keep track of when the dog is fed and it works great. The second was outdoors as a side-yard gate sensor – the device is not rated for outdoor use (and I expect it would quickly fail with exposure to rain), but I coated the gaps with RTV silicone and it appears to easily keep water out in my testing. Both uses work very well. The device could be easily used in a variety of situations to detect open-close events, including sliding glass doors, garage doors, windows, and dogfood cabinets. The devices can be attached with the provided double-sided tape or two small screws from the inside of the housing (screws not provided). Physical installation was easy with the provided tape. The RF range is much better than I was expecting and works at close to 100 feet somewhat depending on obstructions. The device uses one CR2450 coin battery which has not died yet, but the device operates at voltages down below 3V (testing with expired batteries from other devices – good CR2450s start out at ~3.4V) and since the device sleeps until the reed sensor is activated, I expect the battery life to be very long ~ year, but will update this when they die. Since they have reed sensors, there are not moving parts and sensing is via magnetic field – thus they operate silently. They do have a red LED that lights up when activated. Placing known bad/dead battery in the device caused the red LED to simply flash slowly – thus, that is the low or replace battery indicator.Removing the cover to replace the batteries or use screws to mount can be a little tricky, but a small screwdriver gently pried in the holes worked. This was trial and error because the device comes with no instructions at all.Although I received the 2-pack at a good price for these types of sensors, a 4-pack is about the same price as 2 and would be an amazing value.Overall, I would recommend this for someone who likes to tinker with devices/sensor. However without the brand’s security system and lack of instructions, I would not recommend as easy to use for everyone. I am giving it 5 stars because it worked perfectly in my use case.

You need the company’s alarm system for this to work
I ordered these thinking they would work on their own, but it turns out you actually need the company’s full security system for them to function. That part’s on me, I should have done a little more research before ordering. What really threw me off though is how unclear everything is. The product just came in a small box with no directions, no QR code to scan, and no setup information at all. I searched through other reviews hoping for help, but most of them seemed vague or even AI generated, you can always tell when something’s written without real experience. Only one review actually mentioned the same issue I ran into, confusion about how to get the device to work. After digging deeper, I realized these are essentially like Ring door sensors, they need to connect to the company’s alarm system. I spent over half an hour on the phone with Amazon trying to figure it out, but they couldn’t provide any answers either. There’s also no way to contact the seller directly. When I checked the seller’s page, I saw they do sell a full alarm system, but since I already use Ring, I’m not about to buy a second one just for these sensors. I originally wanted them for my RV, thinking they would chime on their own, but that’s not the case. So, I’m returning them. My issue isn’t that the product doesn’t work, it’s that there’s almost no information about how it’s supposed to. The seller really needs to include clearer details in the product description, a manual, or at least a QR code that links to setup instructions. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out, and it could have easily been avoided with better communication.

    Couldn’t Use!
These wireless door/window sensor alarms arrived with no instructions, which made setup confusing. I assumed they were standalone, but based on other reviews, they require connection to the company’s alarm system. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use them, so I can’t speak to their performance. Be sure to check compatibility before buying.

Great wireless window or door alarms!!
It’s easy to install as it’s only two pieces to do. The battery life will go for a long time and give you ample use. Also keep in mind it depends on the severity of the use as well. The quality is impeccable. The loudness of the sound is great and gives you additional security.
