Fantastic motion alarm!
This product is wonderful. we have 2 dogs we can put outside to go to the bathroom. My husband a senior man with slight dementia. I work part time a senior also. He would let the dogs out and forget about them. They don’t bark to come in. They will sit by the door. This gadget sets off an alarm to remind both of us when they are outside and walk near the sensor which is by the door. I bought the 2 units to plug in . He watches TV all day and plays it loud. These alarms work perfect for us. One is plugged in by the couch and the 2nd is plugged in at the back of the house. You could probably get by with one unless you have a 2 story house. They can be loud or adjust the volume lower. Different sounds to choose from. You could use it at your front door it could let you know when someone is approaching. We use ours at the back door for our fenced in area for the dogs. Easy to install set up. No app is needed. I highly recommend. Built well . I rarely write a review. But this product is outstanding!!

Works great – easily adjustable sensor, sounds and volume
We bought this motion sensor chime to alert us when our dog is waiting by the door inside our garage to come back in the house (she doesn’t bark to come in). We love it! The extensive choice of sounds and 5 volume levels are great and so much better than the shrill ‘driveway alert’ type alarms we’ve used in the past. The sensor is on a pivot and can be easily adjusted to detect desired motion and minimize false alarms (we’ve had 100% accuracy). The sensor does not appear to be weather proof and is for interior use only. Our only criticism is that the instructions that come with the sensor are poorly written and incomplete – e.g. there’s no mention of installing the batteries, which you have to do BEFORE you assemble the sensor on it’s pivot arm. But we figured it out fairly easily and the alarm is otherwise perfect for our needs. Recommend.

Great door alert
This thing works like a charm. I purchased this for my cats to alert me when they want to come in from outside. After leaving my back door opened and finding raccoons in my house was enough for me to be on the hunt for the perfect product. This fits the bill. It has many different tones to choose from. It also has a volume button to control noise but can be really loud if needed. It is very easy to install just basically hang it and plug it in. I now have piece of mind as to what is coming into my home. This was a great find.

Works perfectly
I wanted this to alert me when my dog went upstairs in the night. It works perfectly right out of the box. The receiver and sensor were paired as soon as I plugged in the receiver. The sensor has a good range, just right for covering the stairs. Lots of alert tones to choose from. I just wanted a simple doorbell sound, it was easy to select. Good volume options as well, so it’s not too loud. I like how the receiver plugs into a receptacle. No batteries to worry about on that end. Just 2 AAA’s in the sensor, and these were provided. Lots of mounting options for the sensor, but we just have it sitting on a ledge on the stairwell. Didn’t need to permanently mount it. Does the job we wanted it to.

Low cost solution to know when our big cat wants to come in
PROBLEM: One recent cold Winter day our Alpha Cat Georgie snuck between our legs and went outside without being seen and we didn’t notice until 2300 hours Snack Muster (we have four foster fail cats), which meant Georgie was outside for about six hours. After looking through the entire house, we found him on the back deck urgently requesting entrance. Georgie is a long-haired part Maine Coon Cat, so he probably holed up in one of his favorite hiding spots, but even so the temps were below freezing and he was very grateful to be back in the warmth. He laid in his bed in front of the fireplace the whole night.RESEARCH: Georgie is certainly smart enough to learn how to push a doorbell button, but that would take time to teach him. We wanted to find something that would help right out of the box. We searched for something like a garage door safety mechanism so Georgie could break a laser beam and ring a bell. Unfortunately, the units we saw were either too expensive or too specific to garage doors. It might be possible to retrofit such a unit, but it seemed like there should be an inexpensive Plug and Play solution.SOLUTION: This unit fit the bill more or less perfectly. Mounted low on the door pointed at the spot on the doorstep where Georgie puts his nose when he wants to come in, the unit paired easily with the ringer and neatly announced when Georgie was ready to grace us with his presence in our living space.PROS: Easy set up; lots of tunes to choose from; five volume settingsCONS: (1) outdoor unit is TOO sensitive. After initial setup, it detected every tiny movement in the entire yard. Squirrels, birds at the feeders, wind rustling leaves, and more. Luckily the unit has a mute setting that also blinks a warning light when movement is detected. In the attached pics, you’ll see my simple low tech solution of putting electrical tape over 2/3 of the detector and pointing further toward the ground. This worked well and now only triggers movement next to the bottom of the door.(2) there is no compatibility with Google or Alexa or any way to capture a log of detections. This may only be a problem for people like us who like to track trends (we also own two wi-fi connected automatic cat litter boxes that collect lots of data about our Cat Army’s latrine practices.OVERALL IMPRESSION: this unit was overkill for our purposes and needed a little tweaking to dial back the sensitivity. That said, at less than $25, this unit easily solved our problem. We recommend this for any pet owner who needs a similar solution.

Autism Tool
We got this for our autistic daughter’s bedroom so we would know when she’s out of bed. It’s been a life saver for us! Gives us a peace of mind that when she tries to leave her room, we are made aware. Great tool for us special needs parents.
