I would have been very pleased at any price-at a $49 special I was blown away! Great system, a no brainer to install! The app will literally not allow you make a mistake as you install. The additional components I purchased to round out the system are also well made and reasonably priced. For future development I would recommend to X Sense to consider a battery back up for the base unit along with an option to connect to the cellular network in case the WI FI goes down. The water detectors are great-here they may consider temperature and humidity to be built in.

If you have a one-room apartment, this system is perfect. If you have a small home go elsewhere.
I’ve never seen a company launch an alarm system and then not sell any additional sensors whatsoever. It’s the weirdest thing. I actually really like the Simplicity of it and so far it has been reliable but I’m stuck with what comes with the basic kit and if I want to buy more I’m going to end up with 10 base stations And 10 keypads that I’ll never use, because I’m going to have to buy 10 entire kits just to get the 10 door sensors I need. Incredibly stupid on their part.

Inexpensive and useful, but not perfect
I bought three of these sets for the house. Everything functions as I would have expected except the motion sensors. Those can only be triggered when armed. They don’t alert on motion otherwise. I would like to get notifications on motion similar to the notifications that the door sensors provide, but the motion sensors can only set off the alarm.
