Love this!
“X-SENSE SMART MAILBOX ALARM…”So far, so good. I bought it used off of Amazon. The instructions are pretty straightforward in my opinion, I hooked it up and it was not working correctly. I could not get the red light to stop blinking on the base station no matter what I did. I did troubleshooting per the manual to know avail. I called customer service in which the guy walked me through steps to try to get rid of the red blinking light but it didn’t work. He opened a ticket and told me to uninstall and then reinstall the actual mailbox sensor along with a few other steps to do. He said customer service would be emailing me in 24 to 48 hours in the event I still can’t get it to work correctly. Customer service emailed me very quickly, telling me that if I cannot get the red light to stop blinking to send a video to them. I followed the steps the guy gave me on the phone, as well as the steps given to me in the last email from customer service. I got the unit set up correctly and the red light to stop blinking. Yes, it’s a bit annoying when you get a product and can’t get it to work correctly right off the bat, but customer service was absolutely wonderful. The first time they called me I could not answer as I was on the phone with my doctor. I was disappointed because I figured I wouldn’t hear from them again. I was wrong. They called me back again. I’ve only had this a couple of days, but so far I’m happy with it and I’m definitely happy with customer service.

The X-Sense Smart Mailbox Alarm works great! The quality and durability of the Base and Mailbox is good. The only area for improvement is to send better double-sided adhesive strips.For Ring users, the X-Sense Smart Mailbox Alarm WORKS FAR BETTER than Amazon’s Ring Mailbox Sensor which requires the additional purchase of an Amazon Bridge and the use of Amazon Sidewalk.The X-Sense Smart Mailbox Alarm works seamlessly with your home Wi-Fi. BOTH the X-Sense Smart Mailbox Alarm with the X-Sense Base (which is included) currently costs LESS THAN the purchase of Amazon’s Ring Mailbox Sensor and is a much better value! The X-Sense app is easy to use, the choice of ringtones for the X-Sense Base are very nice. The X-Sense app sends realtime notifications to your mobile phone when your mailbox is opened and closed; plus the X-Sense Base pleasantly chimes simultaneously if you choose that setup! This is the one I was waiting for
We had previously purchased another mailbox monitor and it was pretty flaky. It looks like it was from RadioShack in the 90s, had a tiny little antenna, and worked only 50 to 70% of the time. This product is the one that I was actually wanting. I’m glad they finally came out with it. It’s much sleeker looking, and because it’s on Wi-Fi. It’s able to make use of our vast mesh network in our house. Also, because there is an app, it means that if you’re away from home, you’ll get notified on your phone. Plus, it’s half the price of the other one that we used for years. This is great, it hasn’t missed once.

Good system
This is used in a mailbox 400ft away from the receiver and works well. Only downside is sometime getting false alerts caused by passing trucks. It’s not all trucks, maybe one a day, but after assuring the rigidity of the mailbox I can’t find any way to completely stop this. The system is great and I can usually rule out the false alerts that happen by knowing that my mail delivery is usually after 5pm on this route when very few trucks are going by. Reading the troubleshooting guide I found no advice or adjustment for this quirk. Other than this I would give it 5 stars.

The range is outstanding….
We love this mailbox alarm.I was surprised of the range this alarm has and setup was pretty easy for me.My application has mail box in Bricks at the road at a distance of about 150 feet.The receiver is located in our living room through an exterior brick wall and three interior walls between transmitter and receiver.I would love to put a live security camera on the mail box, but have not found one that has this sort of range.As fart as this mailbox alarm, I believe you can’t go wrong with it.

Excellent product, highly recommend. Now that Canada Post is not putting up the red flag we found someone tampering with our mailbox, purchased this item and it works a charm, we know instantly when the mailbox has been opened. You cannot see our house from the road and we are surrounded with trees but the signal comes through just fine. It is nice to have 2 people to set it up, one on the phone app and the other reading the instructions because they are so small you need a magnifying glass. We don’t have a router and use my phone as a hotspot, working perfectly. If you have a rural mailbox I highly suggest purchasing this product.
