Really well made and solid safety device
This thing is great! It’s heavy, solid and simple to use. My hubby usually uses the walk in shower as he can be unsteady on his feet. However sometimes when we travel or stay with relatives, he needs to step over a tub to shower. This is perfect for that. I easily installed it over our bathtub and it just screws tightly to the walls of the tub. It is adjustable so should fit to any standard bathtub edge. I weighed it and it came it at around 6-7 lbs. I left it on the tub in our guest room, which is near the toilet, in case he needs to use that as a grab bar for the toilet. This thing is solid and won’t slip once it’s screwed in. It’s rated for 300 lbs and I can tell it can take a lot of weight. I also like that it has pads on the sides and top so it won’t damage your tub sides. I very highly recommend for anyone who may need assistance getting in or out of a tub.

Full Metal Construction! Very Sturdy!
This product is fantastic for the price. All of the essential parts are made of metal, ensuring durability. It does not slip at all, even when wet. So far, in the two weeks I’ve had it, I haven’t noticed any signs of rust. I expect this to hold up for a long time.
