Wonderful for it’s purpose…sleeping!
I’ve been using a weighted blanket for a while, but it was getting to warm this summer. My wife had seen this and recommended it. It’s an interesting middle ground. While it is heavy, it doesn’t have the same solid weight that a typical weighted blanket has. Much more distributed.The big win here is that it breathes wonderfully while still keeping you warm and much heavier than any common summer “blanket” you might want to go to.The quirk to it is the weave. This is not a toss around blanket. As others have shown, it doesn’t take a lot of effort to pull the weave way out of shape. However, its easy enough to make things look normal again if you just smooth it out. Just don’t try to grab and pull anywhere. No shaking it out or spreading it like you might try throwing it like a comforter or sheet. If you need to lift it, just fold it over a few times until you can pick it up with your arms and wide palms. Yeah, that may sound silly, but it’s a very unique, and very nice blanket that should be taken care of with some basic sense.On a similar note, yes, the edges curl. Quite a bit actually. It will also stretch significantly if you let it hang over the edges. If you are buying this for it’s purpose (ya know, sleeping) then you’ll be fine. If you are buying it for looks or showing off to your friends, then you probably won’t be happy.One cautionary note though… I would strongly recommend keeping it away from children because it is the equivalent of a very thick string fishing net. It would be very easy for a child to get caught up in it. Same thing goes for sleepers that tend to thrash or twist up sheets / blankets when they sleep.

OMG — I’m in LOVE!! 🥰
I never had one before so it took some getting used to but I love EVERYTHING about this weighted blanket. It’s comfortable, and not too warm. It sits on top of my comforter, so that it can be easily moved. It is heavy but the weight feels wonderful when paired with my heated mattress pad 😊. The first night I was able to sleep until 5am… previously and for over a year I would always wake up at 3am never being able to go back to sleep. It’s a huge help for my issues with stress and anxiety as well… I only wish they had a 10 lbs velvet one, in the same color, for my sofa.NOTE — the shipping was kinda slow… huge bummer but well worth the wait.

Soft, beautiful blanket
I ordered the cream velvet chunky knit blanket and it is just what I was looking for. It is large enough to fit my queen bed and the weave is soft and allows air through. The weight is just right (I got the 20 pound) and I love that it has no beads/fillers. It is also a beautiful blanket and texturally interesting. The “chemical smell” some people complain about is just the smell of the plastic shrink wrapping it comes packaged in and it goes away fairly quickly once opened. It is an expensive blanket but worth the cost considering the quality, beauty and functionality of this piece. It was also about $80 less than the Bearaby blanket I was originally looking at.. as well as much larger (I really wanted a 60×80). I am very happy with my purchase.

wash 1st!
Must wash 1st! Very strong chemical or packing smell. Not musty but strong chemical type smell. HIGHLY recommend washing 1st then dry on low heat. Spray w/ Febreze.Now, the blanket is very soft. Great color- true to color. I bought the multi colored w/ oranges and blues, yellows, etc. The weight is good. The size is …. not like a typical queen size blanket. It does not hang over the sides; mostly like a topper or large throw blanket. This is the same as the 1st 1 I bought. Both queen sizes but not. The edges curl over so they feel think if you try to “cuddle” them up under your chin while sleeping. They DO NOT OVERHEAT. I have no issues being too hot even in the summer. I’d still recommend these blankets but just keep in mind, when you open them, they smell bad. My dog didn’t want to lay on it.

Excellent nap blanket!
After considering a Bearaby blanket, I decided to try this one instead. It is gorgeous. I actually prefer the weave to the Bearaby ones that I’ve seen.Though I bought the blanket for myself, my husband appropriated it immediately, so it looks like I’ll be purchasing more of them.

Not a real weighted blanket
I bought the 15lb one and regarding the weight, it feels like maybe 5 pounds when in actual use. Blanket does huh body instead is stiff and hovers above. It does breathe well but I could have got a cheaper blanket if I wanted only that. I don’t understand the other reviews saying that it is good when a weighted blanket is to give a hugging feeling where as this one gives a scorned ex feeling.

寝て起きると、重いため多少疲れた感はあるが、それまであった中途覚醒はなくなった。今までと比べ深く寝れるような気がします。今の寒い時期は、暖かく寝れるので暖房なしでも十分です。独特な匂いはします。
