Gives me peace of mind
These sensors have been completely reliable in the five months I’ve had them. I’ve had a freezer door accidently left open by a kid before, which spoiled all of the food inside, wasting hundreds of dollars. With these affordable temp sensors, I have strong peace of mind knowing that I’ll be alerted if something like that were to happen again!Battery life seems good so far. One of them appears full and the other close to it, so I believe them on their long battery life claims. They don’t use some obscure battery size either, so that’s nice.I use mine with the Home Assistant integration, which seems to be well supported. Being able to send customized notifications, toggle lights, or make smart home announcements based on these (and other YoLink) sensors is a major plus to me.Overall, I’m very satisfied. I’m not all-in on the YoLink system yet because I prefer to use Z-Wave/Zigbee for most things, but these seem to be a reliable alternative that is quite a bit cheaper, easier to pair, and has better battery life, while still not using WiFi for communication. The whole package is definitely enough to get me interested in investing more in their system.

Can’t beat the quality, price, performance
In my experience the YoLink Temperature and Humidity Sensors have been an extremely easy to install and configure and a very reliable product. I purchased my first three sensors at my home in Canada to monitor my deep freeze, my refrigerator and my kitchen air temperature and humidity. I installed them 2025-06-10 and as of today 2025-10-13 they have been in service for 4 mon 3 days. I used Amazon Basics Alkaline batteries and after 4 months all are at 100% charge! The product interface is extremely intuitive and the product provides a plethora of data with the option to download MS Excel or CSV history files for the past three months.The station hub is the “control center and brains” of the service through and to which the sensors communicate to the hub and to the internet.I now added my USA condo to its own hub with three sensors for deep freeze, refrigerator and family room and it is all configured under a second home in the YoLink software.It’s EXACTLY the product I wanted and it lacks nothing. It’s been designed beautifully and the product itself is flawless and an engineering work of quality.This is an exceptionally intuitive, capable, flexible and reliable product. It should be in your toolkit for home automation for properties outside your driving range.An exceptional product and as a design engineer myself, It’s well done, especially for the extremely reasonable price.

I bought it because of the promise of longer range LoRa wireless connectivity back to the hub have the ability to check on temperature conditions from my iPhone anywhere. I also like the fact that no monthly fees. Easy to install and works great.

Great Product – Saved Food
Have sensor in garage fridge and main fridge in kitchen and hub reaches both easily. APP great to alert of issue, and has saved contents from a door not being fully closed AND in another case helped alert of a fan failure. More than paid for itself. Being able to monitor history of temperature and humidity is another really nice feature of APP. Battery life has been amazing and local displays nice to see when I open door and see status. Would recommend to anyone concerned about a refrigerator or freezer that might not hold temperature, isn’t used frequently, or is used by many people who might not always close doors completely … basically anyone who has a refrigerator or freezer. I won’t own another refrigerator or freezer without one.

Good sensor but needs updates
Good sensor. It does work. Even in a cold freezer. However as of 8/18/2025 the alerts and automations in the app still need some help. Alerts work but are hard to program. If u want to monitor stuff it is perfect. No signal issues or nothing. Can see sensor data wherever I am. But as I said, alerts and automations need help.

Excellent remote temp sensors
These temperature and humidity sensors are amazing. I’ve had one in my deep freezer for a year and never had a problem with it. I can probably go another year before having to change batteries. I even have a sensor in my detached garage so I can get an idea of the temperature outside. Neither sensor has ever disconnected from the hub…not even 1 time in a whole year! Thats unheard of these days with all of the wireless stuff we use throughout our day!The sensors and hub were very simple to setup. After everything was linked. I was able to start setting up the app and my preferences…sensors named…high temp alarms set…etc. The alarms come as emails. You can even see the history of all the data.Honestly, this was the best purchases I made to ensure I don’t end up with a freezer full of rotten meat. Excellent product…well worth the money!!!

Fridge & Freezer Temp Monitors
Bought a set in March 2025. It included two temperature & humidity sensors and the hub required to use them. Setup was a breeze. Both devices connected easily and have never lost their connection. One is in my kitchen fridge and the other is in my garage freezer. We had our fridge go out last year and didn’t know it until some items had already got too warm. These monitor the temp and will alert me when the temperatures get above a certain limit. I chose the limit and set it in the app. They work great and I couldn’t recommend them any higher. I’m looking to get other YoLink devices to use with the hub.

Grundsätzlich funktioniert das Produkt sicher gut aber das Problem ist das es aus Amerika kommt und über den US Server läuft.Zusätzliche Geräte bekommt man nur sehr schwer über die Amerikanische Seite und dort wuchern die Preise wegen des Versandes + Zollgebühren.Ein anderer Anbieter aus England auf Amazon hat nur Sensor ohne Hub verkauft, hab den dann aber nicht mit diesen Hub verbinden können, da der Sensor Plötzlich eine andere Typennummer hatte, und der dann auf dem EU Server laufen sollte.Für EU habe ich aber keinen anderen Anbieter mehr gefunden und schließlich alles wieder zurück geschickt.

The hub is an absolute pig to set up but once you have done then it’s a great piece of kit for ensuring that I’m notified if the freezer out in the garage fails. I’m using the other sensor to keep an eye on the temperature in the freezer in the house.* important to note that it will initially tell you that no internet has been found – just ignore it and carry on with the set up*

I was very pleased with this purchase.We live in a cold climate and travel a lot. A big fear is to be away and the furnace packs it in.We received these yesterday and I set them up. Really easy installation with no issues. Install a phone app, scan the hub and the sensors and you are ready to go.I looked at various alternatives before purchasing these but the advantage with this one is the options where you can connect the hub directly into your network using a network cable and it can be plugged into a power outlet. With wifi there is always a chance that it drops and I do not need to work about hub batteries failing.To test the unit we moved one of the sensors into our unheated garage and within minutes we received an alert to our phone and via email about the low temperature.Now we do not need to have someone go into our house regularly while we are away.
