This is a high quality, well sewn weighted blanket. My dog Sunny is deathly afraid of storms and fireworks. This blanket has passed the storm test! Once gently covered with the blanket, I was able to verbally assure her and she LOVED THE WEIGHT. I assume it’s like a hug for her. She didn’t go into a panicked/pant mode and didn’t shake! She was able to sleep through the storms! Now, I can’t wait to try the July 4th fireworks test! Thanks so much! This is worth every penny. (Very reasonably priced, too!)

Soft and lovely
The product itself is soft and lovely. My dog loves sleeping on top of it. Yes, on top. He’s a Chihuahua mix who loves to bury himself and tosses the blanket to get underneath. He can’t toss this, so he’s not thrilled with it. But I snuggle him in it when he’s anxious, and that seems to work well. It’s also very warm, so he often snuggles under it with me at night in the cold bedroom.I may try attaching the four corners into his kennel, raising them just a little off the floor so he can bury better. If so, I’ll edit the review for that.
